I facepalmed when I saw the game I was like 'really Sony?' I love the ps3 I think it's the best console this gen but lets be open minded, your being delusional if you think this game is gonna enjoy a critical or commercial success especially when weighed against SSBB,

The worlds best selling piece of sh!t is easily Kinect, why ? Because Microsoft marketed the hell out of the thing ,I mean Jesus Christ they put 500 million dollars into the advertising campaign alone that's insane , i think it was even featured on Oprah ...Oprah one of the worlds most powerful women think about how powerful that statement is and it shows in the sales of that turd 20 million plus worldwide.
Now look at Halo 3 a game made on a budget of 60 million dollars,...
yeah i was kinda hoping they fixed the camera so you can use the left stick, it wasn't a big deal back in the day but by todays standards its a little awkward, and did become quite frustrating especially in the boss battles
i agree, i think the story is my biggest issue with it, or in general how its presented especially in 2, 3. Its so damn corny, its like the writers sat down watched a marathon on Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica and said "hmm how can we turn this in to a spoof parody"
And to top it off, there are some seriously dodgy voice acting as well the entire time Shepard is talking im like "why couldn't Nolan North do this"

yeah this review seemed so honest to me, because i could see the direction after the demo i LMFAO when Kevin mentioned the melee spamming, in Leon's demo you didnt even need to use a gun. But seriously capcom get it together this game looks and feels like an absolute mess.
3D is dying gimmick , public interest is waining, look at 3D ticket sales at the movies, then look at t.vs i think Sony finally realised this.

Let me start with motion control, i think the Wii is best example of this, i think the console is great but the motion control just didnt add anything to games period using the wii mote in a "unique" "innovative" way in gaming just resulted in waggle, the best game on the consol...
I agree 110% the amount of times i said 3d was a pointless costly gimmick and a waste of time and resources by sony, i got allot of flak on this site. I was constantly saying 3d was a pointless addition to gaming but the mindless fanboys were convinced 3d was a way forward for Sony, it never was it was just a waste of resources , time, and publicity for the most pointless gimmick ( next to motion controls) of the last 10 years and didn't add anything to core gameplay.

I do laugh when people downplay the psp and ps3 for that matter as if they were a tremendous failure, because in realty if they were what do you consider 90% of gaming hardware ? and what do you consider that 10% thats marginally better ?
what has gears 3 outselling ps3 exclusives (not entirely true) got to do with anything, since when do sales= quality COD has outsold everything on the 360 including the beloved Halo, that doesn't exactly exclude it from criticism.

I disagree man, there only going for a more action orientated approach to appeal to the masses, look at the most popular games in north america COD, they clearly want a piece of that pie and there not gonna get it by sticking to a traditional survival horror, i don't blame them i mean at the end of the day gaming is just business, its just a shame to see a beloved franchise lose it's identity for the sake of appealing to casual frag heads.

The thing is Uncharted 3 wouldn't be considered a disappointment if Uncharted 2 wasn't so damn good, really after playing Uncharted 3, Gears 3 , and other action games released in the last year i can really appreciate Uncharted 2 so much more than when i played it on release.
That said i have quite a few gripes with Uncharted 3, for example the pacing is way off, nothing really connects fluidly , it just seems that one minute im in London, then im in France then im Sy...
Leon's campaign looks like its gonna be just a easy if not more so, i think RE6 is more casual than COD seriously after playing the demo on Leon's side you dont even need to use a gun, you can literally fly through the demo using the combat knife and melee, I was shocked. T
The game is more like a cross between Gears of War and L4D just allot easier.
COD does require some level of skill , that said the game is really easy to master, i remember when i started playing Black-ops i prestiged in a month.
On the other hand there are games that i will always suck at has any one played Battlefield 3 on the pc ? jesus christ
I cant believe the amount of free games i got , Dead Space 2, Red Dead Redemption, LBP2, (which i will buy after my sub ends), Just Cause 2, Infamous 2, Borderlands ,these aren't bad games either these are quality games, plus i got a free beta to DUST.
Anyone that says PS+ is just a way to get you to spend more money is liar, because for £15-40 your getting up to £200 worth of games as well as early access to betas and discounts.
YLOD was no where near as epic as RROD, don't even try to compare the two, and RROD alone was one of many other technical faults that plagued the 360 since launch.
Hardware wise the 360 has always been a piece of sh!t i even know diehard 360 fanboys that have admitted that.
BTW my friends 2007 ps3 died 1 year after his warranty ended and Sony still sent him a free ps3.
Its a game series that's finally lost its identity, you can't even call it a survival horror, let alone a Resident Evil game.
But that would be fine if it was at least a good action game but its not, the game is completely generic and forgettable.
