Yeah, Lool at the first point as bizzare and odd as they've been GTA plots have always been great, and this is mainly due to the huge cast of engrossing characters in each game , all so memorable and excellently voice acted.
IMO Goldeneye is an overrated shooter and hasn't held up at all, to me all it was , was those old 2.5d shooters only less complex and in souped up 64 bit graphics, coupled with the most backwards, awkward control scheme ever, great for it's time ,
But its influence on the genre is questionable compared to the likes of Doom, System Shock, Half-Life 1-2 (why that isnt on the list is beyond me)or even Halo.

I could not believe the ammount of celebrities in San Andreas they all done a terrific job , Ice T as the Pimp was a believable ass hole, James Woods was incredible, Samuel L Jackson, Chris Penn, Dennis Hopper, it was all amazing I had no idea who voiced these characters untill the end credits i was like "wow"

Agreed to an extent, but sometimes a simple story is all you really need that way you have plenty of time to work on making the characters more likeable see Uncharted for example

Lacking in the gameplay department ? Have you ever played an MGS game ?, the gameplay has always been the draw of it.
And yes IMO it is the best video game franchise imo, excellent gameplay, outstanding level design, excellent replay value and obviously gripping, deep, mature, story. As a franchise Metal Gear offers everything i'm personally looking for in a game.
That said I would also understand if someone was to call Zelda or Mario the greatest franchi...
I think Killzone is a great franchise but to compare it Halo is completely ridiculous, Halo has, and does way more as an overall experience/ package.
Halo 1 alone's campaign is longer than Killzone 2 and 3 put together. The story is way deeper and the universe is more fleshed out, Killzone is literally just a bunch of space nazis , and a bunch of republicans in an arena, with dreadful characters there is zero identity.

I hate to admit it being a fan of the system but he's right this has been arguably the weakest ps3 year, with the exception of Journey everything else has been BLEH!!! and before you disagree , look back to the previous years the PS3 has had better, this year was horrible
It's a fun game with a friend if you ignore the fact that it's an RE game, certain aspects have aged rather poorly tho controls/inventory system especially can be a pain.
agreed and i've said this before, on Metacritic/ Rottentomatoes a 7/10 or 70% means a damn good Movie or Album but in the videogame world it's a piece of sh!t and isn't worth the time of day, why is that ? in fact I remember 10 years ago a 7/10 meant "this is a great game if you love the genre it's worth picking up" a 6/10 was a rental , now for some reason a rental is an 8/10 game and everything below is avoid.
