1. The Steam Machines come out almost a year after the PS4 and XBO, products that are already recognized in the console market.
2. There are 13 different versions of the Steam Machines (most overpriced), which will definitely cause some level of confusion in the market.
3. Justifying $500 was hard enough with the XBO.

The price of this thing isn't even confirmed. I highly doubt it's gonna be $500. The profit margin would be too small. I think this thing is going to be a very niche machine. It's not going to compete with the PS4 and XBO, PS4 especially.
Mighty No.9 comes out in 2015 and KH3 and FF15 don't even have release windows. I can tell you witt a shadow of a doubt that they will not come out then. Aside from that, good list

Sleepzone Shadowfall and Ryse of the QTEs (please take as a joke) are launch games. Aka, under whelming in terms of gameplay.
The good stuff comes out in 2014. And the really good stuff is coming in 2015 and beyond. I'm a huge PlayStation fan, but I'm gonna be good with my PS3 for now. Hell, even after I get a PS4 I'll be playing the hell out of my PS3.

The PS4 version is going to be superior anyway. Not to mention it'll sell so much more than the XBO version. After waiting for so long, the main priority is to get the game out.
You're right about the PS4 and XBO not matching the Ultra settings of something like the Witcher 3. But I think it'll look good on both consoles regardless.
However, the PS4 really isn't struggling with 1080p.
But it's good that the PS4 is running Planetside 2 at a good level. Also, both consoles will improve. So I can't wait to see what they'll produce in a few years.

This is FF15. Intentional, or not, SE put themselves under a bit more pressure when they decided to change the name from Final Fantasy Versus XIII to Final Fantasy XV. It's no longer a spinoff.
