Your missing the part about the CDPR working to get 1080p with the Witcher on the PS4. I think I'd be in a pretty safe bet if I said that it'd be 1080p by the time it launches. It is a while away from release. I won't rule out the possibility for the XBO's resolution to get to something like 900p, but the article never says that they're working to get it to a higher res.

The order is not 800p. It's a 1080p game in a letterbox. 1920x800 (what you call 800p) is basically 1080p in a letter box.
But the Order isn't 800p though. Whether it's 1920x1080 or 1920x800 (1080p with letter box/black bars. Also known as cinematic 1080p, used in blu ray movies), the image is still 1080p.
Anyway, no. The XBO will never catch up to the PS4.
Driver updates? The PS4 will get those too. Not to mention the on paper specs that people above have posted.
Devs getting more efficient with there tools? That will happen with the PS4 as well.

1920x800 is the same as native 1080p, but with a letter box (the black bars on the top and bottom). I've heard this before, but it seems that some people won't accept it.

In a year (as the gen goes on in fact), the gap will only become larger. Yes, the XBO's performance will get better, but so will the PS4's. Thuway even said that the PS4 has more power left that hasn't been shown yet.

There is only one game on the PS4 that is not native 1080p on the PS4, which is BF4, which we all know is rushed trash. Not to mention it's a launch title. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Even with all those advantages that you listed, consoles are still going strong. The PS4 sold 1 million in 24 hours, only released in 2 countries. I don't think PC gaming or the Steam Machines is a threat to con...

Well at least this time it seems we'll be getting next gen Sonic on the PS4 and XBO. The game will look awesome and be on a much larger scale because of this.

As we all know, Disney also owns the Kingdom Hearts IP, not just SE. So they make calls on stuff like marketing and even story.
If SE was the only company that held the rights to KH, you can bet that we wouldn't have gotten that D23 expo trailer.
But yeah, I think FFXV is gonna release in 2015. We should get a release window or even a date at E3 or TGS.
Like Abriael said, we're apparently gonna see more Japanese stuff at E3 for the XBO. I don't think any of them will be exclusive though (due to obvious reasons). I'm not surprised by this survey, but I agree with Gribble. 8:1 easily in Japan.
Like I've said before, very few genres require 60fps. 1080p should be a standard though.
I get it. Gameplay is the most important thing, but just because the XBO is under fire it doesn't mean that graphics, resolution and frame-rates don't matter. Personally, I want great graphics at 1080p native. After that, 30fps is good for me and 60fps is great.
But hey, I'm gonna be playing P5 on the PS3.
This goes to show how many of these 'journalists' are biased to the Xbox brand.
Listen, I'll be the first to tell you that not every game REQUIRES 60fps and stuff like that. Look at me. I'm still playing games on the PS3 and I'll be keeping it. I might even buy a second one. Hell, look at the games coming out for the PS3 this year. A lot of them being exclusives.

It was never really exclusive to Sony. They don't own the franchises.
KH has a very low chance of being on PC. They never mentioned it having a chance. But FF15 is a different story.
I really don't mind. The question is, how much would it sell on the PC?
