Well no I think that was part of the Argument. I think it was a case of people saying it's been in development for 5 years and was formerly announced for PlayStation aswell so cancelling that version when it's almost finished is basically throwing away free money but clearly they decided that having it exclusive was more important.
Well no not really considering we know a ps5 version was in development for several years... infact it seems likely they cancelled it recently...
A crack in time was a great game and some critics were abit harsh on it imo.

There was nothing to confirm it's open source Microsoft don't have todo a thing. It's down to developers to integrate it into their engines if they want to.
@Mcardle people have stated this several times but imagine spell it out to you seeing as it appears you need it spelled out. IT IS OPEN SOURCE. SONY DONT HAVE TODO ANYTHING. DEVELOPERS SHOULD BE ABKE TO IMPLEMENT IT ON THEIR END IF THEY WANT TO. For example Epic Ganes are implementing it into unreal engine 5. Unreal engine 5 works on ps5... thus so does this. It really isn't rocket science. Microsoft won't have had todo anything either. It'd down to the developers.
It's part of UE 5 and as such is definitely able to work on ps5. It's open source it can work on a whole range of guys it's down to devs to integrate it into their engines...

I wouldn't be surprised if it does come to pc in 2-3, years time shortly before the sequel arrives on ps5 hell I could see them waiting till ps6 is announced and due to release tbh. Or only making it available via ps now in pc....
If you can't create studios from scratch and run them well and generate new IP or run the previous studios theh have bought well enough to get titles out the door that are consistently high quality. Why would anyone have faith that they will achieve anything other than running more studios into the ground?
@orchard the gap is smaller because of chip shortage. Even with manufacturing constraints the pa5 is reportedly outselling the xbox more than 2:1.
Doesn't really matter given tempest is built in to ps5 with its own processing unit and is apparently easier for devs to add support for into games. Just look at resident evik- no support for 3d audio on xbox but does have it on ps5. Do devs have to pay a fee to use dolby in their titles?
Thank god the original games 4 felt quite restrictive and was rather annoying imo
I think you are very optimistic that we gat anything more than a pretenders cutscene or a cg trailer.

I expected it to be there last year or on their presentation last september/october.... instead we got a clip reel of devs and half made environments around Xmas time I think it was the game awards so maybe we get a new cg trailer or a pretenders cutscene using the engine. But I don't see us getting any gameplay
So the Nathan Drake collection is clearly going to release first... followed by uncharted 4. End of the day you are looking at a 6 year old game and waits of like 2- 3 years for new titles. Seems reasonable to me.

So Jalo'a multilayer is free to play anyway, back4blood is a multiplatforn title, psychonauts 2 also multiplatform I believe AoE4 is pc only title and a game I'm really looking forward 2. Flight simulator has been out on pc ages and forza horizon looks OK but I'm confused what happened to the mainline forza entry that is due?? It's good value for MS's first party titles or certainly has the potential to be but in the case of back4blood isn't great value as that title i...
