Well arguably his statement could be talking in general but be refferring to the price bracket. Most likely he was just talking in console terms in the same way as I might say the cpu inside a galaxy s5 is a beast of a cpu-well in mobike terms the 2.5ghz quad core cpu's are some of the best however compare it to a pc or laptop cpu and its a different story...

See ubisoft are on record saying their games chart better on playstation as are ea yet theyve both alllwed a fair bit of timed exclusive content this year on xb1... thats not the stuff people usually buy consoles over only reason destinynwill sell ps4s is the bundle with white ps4 and advertising..

These games dont require that many rescources to be rereleased. As such it probably actually means they'll release more. Id they see that they can rerelease games in the following generation and make more money of there investments... so if atm 3/10 exclusives make enough money to finance the rest and have some profit left however if those other 7 can be rereleased at little extra cost and then genwrate more money they will make more games knowing that even ones that break even or make a ...
Day one patches are a pain but at least they are there day 1 I can put up with that vs almost every game being delayed prrtty much however any later than day 1 to fix game breaking bugs they must have known about...not acceptable.
I got it on pc and mods have improved it massively and yeah I know bethesda's bug history was bad but skyrim was the worst. It was initially fine for me on ps3 too then they started patching it and it all went downhill... not to mention the dlc BS meant to be 1 month timed exclusive to xbox yet there was no news on pc and ps3 versions then suddenly pc would release with almost no notice, and then they gave everyone NO info on ps3 progress for months...and the gamebreaking bugs persisted....

Yoshida and others have already commented on this-they said that due to complaints last gen about constant updates trickling features through they were aiming at roughly a one major update with loads of features per quarter approach and smaller stability and bug fixes/baxkground prep inbetween as necessary. We got one big one back in late may/early june (I forget exact timing) next one likely wont be till around/shortly after gamescom.And then we likely wont see anything major till novemberis...
