I play certain types of games on pc and others and exclusives on my ps4. Thing is the hassle I've had with broken buggy pc games I really cba with the crappy hoops I have to jump through sometimes to get pc games to actually launch etc because bugs are messing them up, at least evem the buggies console games ice had the misfortune of owning have been able to launch without me editing.internal files and such I just cba with that shit.
I don't see why not having a small dedicated team maybe even formed of new people hired who have console Dev experience Working on it at the same time, working in features from the pc version as they reach public release/are finished can only increase the speed with which it's released and quality of the title on the console I wouldn't mind so much but they've shown Gameplay trailers at ps4 specific events and in the e3 clip reels for free to play
titles.
I think naughty dog are working on a remaster of the original trilogy so chances are you'll get to play it soon enough.
So @Melvin all naught dogs early trailers are done the same way and the final product is never actually downgraded and the Gameplay is usually very very close to hats shown in the in engine cutscene they use. Ummmmm they haven't said he even would still be solid snake. They just replaced him an icon of gaming for nearly 20years with someone else who whilst a good voice actor is wrong for the character. They didn't even have the decency to tell him in advance of the announcement. And their reason is pretty crap because they've had no issue using the original Japanese voice actor. So he should make alot of noise about the issue.
I expected launch on PC a fair bit of time before ps4 but I am a tad pissed to find out that no one is working on the ps4 version. Why even announce it at this stage. Also seeing as Sony Online entertainment are working on it the guys that managed to put DC Universe Online out on both platforms simultaneously and with cross platfrom play it's abit of a kick to hear no one is doing anything for PS4. Depends if what you get for that is yearly titles a year out of date and a slight discount off of new titles digitally which are overpriced by said publisher and more money can be saved by buying them at retail. Then no not good value.
Cosmetic stuff I don't care about but the new weapons and perks that effect Gameplay I don't think should be for sale not at all nevermind on release day and when quite a few users are probably already rebuying the game as it is and new players coming to try multilayer for the first time don't want to have to buy weapons to be on equal footing with other players-no one does and eventually it will ruin the flow of the game selling weapons and perks as dlc never benefits anyone also...
