Bayonetta would not have been made if Nintendo hadn't purchased IP or whatever and MGS4 what are you on about MGS1-ps1 exclusive, mgs2 ps2 exclusive, mgs3 ps2 exclusive asive and mgs 4 also a ps3 exclusive and sony didn't give them massive sums of cash to make it so.

I don't see how it really benefits MS the extra xbox sales they get wont be enough to recoup the massive sum on $ they MUST have had to give square I mean sony are already on 10 million consoles + sold to the consumer Microsoft are on what 6? if it continues like this in a years time sony will be on 25-30 milion and MS 0n about 15-18....
My point is not how much money Square are getting but Microsoft won't make the money this deal cost back of extra consoles it ships alone it must have cost so much to get the deal.s

Sony weren't offered chance to pay for tomb raider. MS went to square enix about it, Sony were apparently never part of the discussion. There was no bidding war.
