TBF he's not a dev I suspect this is meant in a different way to how the site present it and everyone understood it- however quite often developers tell you something and yeah sometimes they are lying or talking crap but most often they spend their lives making games and yet people say they are totally wrong when they've been using the new hardware for months I think they know how it is in comparision to current products.

I think people may be fixated on the wrong part of his statement- I believe he's talking about the services in conjunction with the hardware, not just the hardware-ofc if you spend like £1k on your graphics card it's going to be more powerful, I don't think thats what he means-he clearly means that the xbl and PSN are amplifying what the hardware can do- not to mention both have cloud gaming features baked in so to speak (xbox seems to have more of this than the PS4 but some ...
Well as different graphics levels are already done on pc, scaling is nothing new- I see no reason for multiplatform games to effectively end up a graphic setting above the xbox one, on the PS4... There are no excuses for crappy ports this time- any deaths that have any on PS4 or simply lazy/crap/did it deliberately. Initially though I expect for various reasons games to be the same across the board one all 3 platforms (pc, X1, and PS4-over time the PC will move ahead into ultra settings-withi...
Actully yes I do, I hate gaming on my Pc for one reason I often come on here to play a game in free time or something (bit like now actually) but emails, tv catch up on the very few shows I watch, N4G etc etc all take up my attention and then never play the game, or start playing it literally hours after I originally intended to.... So all these extra gimmicks are just distractions for me to waste hundereds a year on something that'd distract me the devics suppossed purpose... :p

They had originally said "no way" then in march-ish time this year it was suddenly "anythings possible" tbh they need to, Resistance 3 did alright in the end-sgould've done better, it deserved todo better although the multiplayer ended up an overpowered mess-less so than some of the COD's however... personally I still love resistance fall of amn's multiplayer...
They need to reconsider after having palyed fuse... they need to go back to multiplayer like R1 had, but with a better approach to ranking up-singleplayer wise R3 style is just fine although a less rushed ending would be nice- make the pure chimera plotpoint mentioned in resistance 2 have some point to it, and that wormhole with the planet... hale said that was "just the beginning..." so explain why... have hale not really be dead or use grayson or capelli as main character althoug...

I imagine it will be possible via WiFi in fact yoshida has said a)all games that use normal controls so move only games won't be playable but all others will-he did suggest that it might not be possible over WiFi at launch till they had all the gaikai stuff up as latency would be to big withouit but that within a year or so he expected it to work over WiFi too etc.
As long as both are connected to the internet-although remember that even with gaikai tech the further away you are the more likely it is to lagg/have bad latency issues.
The only requirement is that they include alternate control mapping for the vita-in the same way they have to provide trophy's :p but it can't take long to sort that out ..

If the rumours about the new expox having some system like steam does, with it needing game codes put in but then you can download them if you wish etc is true then that seems likely why this would go- i suspect Sony may have a similar system but optional for devs/publishers to use if they so wish :p but whatever is going on they must be replacing it...

Tbh I much prefer Sony's exclusives to most multiplatform games, I mean what your talking about there is raw power vs um...(I can't think of the word lol-when i remember word im looking for i'll edit this :P ) anyway otherwise I agree, keep what you've got and get a ps4 for the exclusives/games like watch dogs and AC4 that have exclusive content- plus some games like the new Batman Arkham: Origins are apparently not coming to next gen consoles sooo I'll be getting it on PC...
Probably looking at about £350 to really screw the Wii U over I think and ensure it's not got a chance of making any comebacks in the near future that might be a nuisance to them...
