@Ausbo: Actually I though the division looked great to but about on par with infamous- interestingly it's not being made on pc as far as we know atm and that gameplay they showed was infact the ps4 version-although they did state if there's demand a pc version could be made.
Will the video recording and uploading not take up a fair bit of memory surely? I know there is this seperate module to process it all instead of using a core from the main cpu, however it still needs the memory to allow it to function...
Well thats good news and PS3 used Open GL and Xbox 360 used Direct x so they would have been in the way @Husomc. Also @joeorc: yes I'm aware they plan todo that however windows wont be suporting the sharing between GPU and CPU that Ps4 has not as it is currently and the APU's they'll be selling will only be 4 cores. This also might explain why Valve have been pushing game development on Linux-I'm assuping this gpu-cpu sharing would be easier to do on there than in windows it ...
So what your saying is direct x won't get in the way next gen? And if something is more powerful console wise and non windows based-we'll see that power? :)
running windows 8 as we speak, when you first use your laptop it works so fast, within a week it's already slowed down a noticeable amount- i turn stuff off, close processes the unclosable windows processes seem to be multiplying faster than rabbits breed though....

Really... I mean I could understand you taking that attitude to Insomniac for their backstabbing their fans that are playstation fans... But Kojima went multiplatform.. you can still play his game if you don't want an xbox. Get a grip, however if you want to be pissed off at Insomniac games.. Im with you there. I had no issue with them going multiplatform but their exclusivity is like Epic games turning round and announcing their new games to be ps4 exclusive... yeah xbox only/primairily ...
Well obvious answer is he stopped being the premiere PS developer? :P But I don't have an issue with him praising XB1 it concerns me more the parts of it he's praising... Also he was clearly paid to show his trailer at their conference and not his OWN and I agree with the Kiefer Sutherland stuff also I really don't like the way they treated David Hayter I mean surely they could've at least informed him beforehand instead of im being as surprised as all of us...
Think it depends on what they are praising-if they are praising the architecture of the consoles, fair enough, but when they are praising the gimmicky features like kinect and smart glass (on either console) or say praising the share function of ps4 etc etc then they are either mad, or talking crap because they've been paid or have gone nuts. Although seeing as it was revealed that at E3 Ms actually were paying devs to only show their versions of games and in some cases not even mention P...
I see like 2 hate comments maybe 3... no idea wtf you are on about... anyone saying MG4's cutscenes didn't take the piss is on crack however games was still great, and peace walker was also great :) I'm disappointed he's considering gimmicky things like kinect or this second screen crap currently in every game under the sun... I think so, although GAIKAI may require an extra subscription of some kind or a new tier of PS plus to be able to stream via, I can't imagine it'd be more than an extra tenner ontop of plus or at most 20 quid-hell might even end up part of ps plus they said they hadn't decided yet... but otherwise I expect so.
The Uk wont be far behind, we usually get stuff first in europe and not long after the USa-I hope it's not like the video store though that took years....

You're notwrong at least they have their priorities hmm, they know who the guinnea pigs to test everything on are and who to release a fully functioning, testd product too.... (EU, Japan etc)
Actually they have to honour existing contracts they already have from when they bought the company as Sony had a deal for PS vita and PSP I wouldn't be surprised if it were on ps4 too after all the only reason its intergrated into xbl now is because it'll encourage some people to make phone calls using it... Earning them money so an app for ps4 doesn't seem outside the realms of possibility ..
Well you'd have to hack your wii u first, or your ps4 before you'd be able to use this with them... Better off just getting a vita surely and using it with your ps4 if you want it for that, wii u remote already does this. After all this only streams direct from a pc as in the main bc not the screen. Also it's only able todo it over local connection not via wifi kike the vita and vita at least gets it's own titles aswell.
