The fuss about the dog is ridiculous, should've been obvious it was just a drone with teeth... The graphics aren't next gen, but they are a MASSIVE improvement over previous COD'. Might be inclined to pick this up next august depends what else is out just before then etc :P and what friends who get ti say about it.
MY Day 1 launch titles atm stand as: Infamous Second Son, Watch Dogs and then maybe AC4 or killzone-depends how much all of this will cost me. Uni isn't cheap :p I'll just wait for xmas if required oh and Destiny-unless Batman:Arkham Origins sees a next gen release or theres some awesome RPG-drak souls 2, Fallout 4 etc? :p
Well you must be playing a different game to me-I thought it was great... I can honestly say it's probably the only xbox exclusive I wish came to ps3... however its hardly the best game ever.

Thing is my opinion on the guy has changed somewhat-I mean he does actually know what he's talking about and often his predictions are the most logical expected outcome.... However the most logical outcome rarely actually occurs... Consumers don't seem to act logically/sensibly :p common sense doesn't factor into purchase intent etc at all.

Which they ont have because few devs can afford to go much higher than they are now-several devs have even expressed concern at the slight increase in costs going to next gen. will cause... they are hardly going to be going for massively superior graphics on pc are they?
Xb1 also has stuff dedicated to OS, sony has a seperate unit within the ps4 for background downloads and such and Os with it's own RAM.. so it doesn't have this issue.
It's a percentage-the device was selling badly, so the increase isn't actually that big. Plus this was just one store-could've gone down everywhere else...
Sony can't stop the publishers for one simple reason-Microsoft are allowing them too, publishers like EA would start pulling support on ps4 because less sales mean more in terms of £ over on the xbox. There'd be more EA exclusives popping up etc etc. The issue is MS have made blocking used games acceptable now- so it's not too big a step for publishers to take to add it in some way to PS4-really is a shame...
I watched the start of the Ps4 reveal again, without lag this time... must say listening to what mark cerny said I think ps4 is going to have something like play tv 2.0built in-i don't consider this a bad thing, nor do i consider the xboox's tv features bad, I also expect sony to discuss it at E3... but here's the thing I can't see them spending more than 15 mins of their 3 hour conference on the feature...
ps3 price drop to £150 and ps4 two models one at £299 or £349 other at £399-both come wit the controller, camera, etc and a game I reckon.
Thats without even touching on the recent rebirth of indie games made on small budgets by small teams but bringing unique gameplay mechanics, storys and ideas to the gaming world :)and I agree all the games you mention look amazing (both visually and as fun games) I want all of them and Batman Arkham Origins will hopefully have a next gen release else I'll have to get it on my PC...
Well just because you're bored doesn't mean the rest of us want to hear about it; you say graphics is an element of software like that's a new thing... it's nothing new, the reason the next gen of visuals kicks off when consoles launch has nothing todo with console hardware vs pc hardware... it's todo with developers ahving to make their games for the lowest spec console and scale up from there for everything else. There's only so far you can scale up before the cost b...
yeah I agree but no one will-so if the game is good and it's already sold millions i'll pick it up aslong as i have web to be able to play it-i mean no point on me missing out if everyones already bought the game...might make a point of only buying them when the price drops considerably though...
Not going to lie as someone who can only afford one console for the time being, what with uni costs etc I'm pissed at insomniac if this is anything but a timed exclusive- I wont support the always online stuff MS are pushing and make no mistake about it 90% of these cloud features are excuses to force you online (i bet every ea game has it) although Ms's e3 has impressed me i think i'll have to ensure im mates with someone with an xbox 1 :p
