Awesome graphics and realistic aren't the same thing- cage like graphics describes it better I think as, if you get too realistic you're likely to tumble into the uncanny valley- I honestly don't think games need to look realistic... :p
What I don't get is why nintendo doesn't reveal this info... what is there to hide? other than clearly inferiority to what you could buy dirt cheap for a pc-only thing it has going for it is the gamepad but even that is more gimmick than useful gaming device- and without the games to support it...
In it's defence it did have to cater to the aging consoles, plus crytek seemed to insist on the 60fps on pc as their main goal to get the great graphics and have the game run at 60+fps on PC. It's a trade off between the flaps and fidelity....
Anyway I can't wait for PS4 Killzone shadow fall and infamous second son both look like great games, watch dogs looks amazing and I'm kinda excited for AC4 :p
I think mid- to late next year we'll see a prolouge GT out of them, maybe GT6 on ps3- GT7 prolougue on PS4 then a couple of years till the full thing :p I also expect a GT vita to be announced...
Hmmm I don't think Ubisoft need any more studios on Assassins Creed so people jumping to that conclusion please wait till we see what they are working on... Is it so ridiculous to (the most likely option) is that Ubisoft didn't see 1666 as a good investment,or as an Ip with any future and so wanted it changed accordingly, or cancelled it. Seems far they are a Buisness after all and we have no idea-it could turn out to have been a crappy game?

might not be a black they intend to win- I mean it would be enough if it caused a delay say into q1 2014- that xmas period of just playstation being available might be all Sony would need, and they know it- I mean they've levelled/overtaken the xbox sales worldwide with console that's still over 200 pounds and a years delay. So imagnie what they'd do with the biggest shopping period of the year....
crysis 1 looked good then but not many people played it on it's highest settings, and its art style was pretty generic... and it hasn't aged too well.
ahh that explains it, theres an alpha version video floating around, personally i think whoever has that copy should anonymously release it into the public domain so we can see what they killed off just before it would've been ready for public release... :(
How about letting them publish the game? It's all publishers like Microsoft offer for the 360 and yet Devs has still jumped through the hoops...
not owned by sony/microsoft/nintendo and aren't owned by another publisher say like activision own infinity ward making them 3rd party, but Bungie own themselves so they are 2nd party.
hmm the issue with the psn was if you had a sub account due to the split rating systems, it would sometimes block say a 12 game even if you are 16, or a 15 if you are 17 etc :/ right pain-plus when you turn 18 it doesn't upgrade into a master account not even if you phone sony, at least if you are the master account owner you can phone sony and request they remove the games online blocks, although some psn online games might not even launch....
Um you are supposed to be 18+ to have a master account anyway... so this is only a slight change now I'm 18 idc if they start checking via Card etails or something, but glad they didn't when I got my PS3 back in 2008. Hell I got hacked once and had to phone up had to admit i wasn't 18 when I couldn't remember the DOB sony didn't care basically :p guy said it was common...

.... it really ought too... :S I've hear dpeople claiming they can for less than $2k-although I do take what people claim with a handful full of salt lol-but it doesn' look THAT amazing, nor is the AI anything too special and the physics seem pretty much the same as Crysis 2's.... Infact Farcry 3 is more technicaly impressive in my opinion considering the AI, open world, wildlife-and I have that on ps3...
