Yeah i know-people seem to be paying no attention to alot of what he says... he also said that ps4 would be bundled with the ps eye, and a headset-yet places keep saying "wonder if it will come with blah blah blah" -same with remote play he said in feb all games using normal controls will recquire a vita control set and will work-yet apparently this was only confirmed yesterday... wtf
This is no different to how it is now then... The could ask us to register already.... So-hopefully sonys patent will at least be used so we don't have to be online for EA games-they've been building to this for awhile though sometimes games like Me3 are hard to get into ifpsn is down etc
I agree, I hate the way they do business, I hate the way they treat consumers and I hate how their 'innovtive ideas' are thrust on us despite EVERYONe proclaiming we really don't like it...
Oh this amused me because the tech sony are using is slightly better aswell lol @fermcr- the guy n charge of it at the time went over to Nvidia a short while ago and he told people the rough figures that changed hands/will change hands:p
Ohhh I now see what it meant-I thought he wanted them to sell their best divisions lol- he wants them to spin them off as a separate company but still sony :p but if the tv section went down completely the rest of the company wouldn't be dragged under with it? So PlayStation, music, films and such would all remain safe? :):)

that is a nasty situation- there are many games I have bought before for reduced price that I never would have risked buying at the full price on release but it turns out I loved-I bought their sequels day 1.... It works both ways EA you didn't want to create new IP's etc tilll next gen well I wont buy them if my money is being called to by better games and I can't afford both. With UNI starting thats going to be most every game that's not a present or something...
maybe they are waiting for sony's decision on DRM? I'm pretty certain EA are the ones pulling the strings behind all this-always thought the hating on them was ridiculous but now I'm beginning to wonder...
Hmm they aren't suppossed to be a threat as they are for gaing. However the PS3 and 360 to be quite honest should be seen as threats by this device their functionality is very similar- So if they don't see the PS4 and particularly the Xbox one as a threat-they are stupid.
the thing with ALan wake is I personally think it would have had better sales had it been on Ps3 (plus i wanted it-although I have it now on pc :p) because games that are slightly different, last gen did typically have more success on ps3 even with sony's iffy advertising (which is improving) tham their 360 counterparts. I.e: Heavy Rain did quite well, Demons Souls did exceptionally better than expected, flower, journey and so on. So if this is a mash up of film (live action) and game of ...

No they didn't, they said after the confrence their 1st party studios were working on some great things. Never said all 15 of the exclusives were from them. Ryse for example appears to be one of these exclusives and is Kinect based i heard. Another has to be Halo 5. One is a Remedy's new game. (Didn't think they were MS 1st party? But independent?)Some will be XBLA titles or whatever MS call it for the one I'm sure, Gears of war, that other exclusive epic were making for xbox ...
Anyone see the irony if it was MS exclusive- after all mirrors edge is based in a world where the state have full control and are watching everything etc :p
I think if publishers are the cause of some used game DRM being implemented-then Sony need to strongly hint at which publisher s to blame, so the community can take it out on them by not buying their games etc. Also no way EA would ditch ps4-it'd lose more money than it gained fromt he loss in user base.
About a year and a half actually, and they didn't pioneer it just used it after virtually everyone else-microsoft would have but the backlash over online xbl fees to them and online passes? Nah they couldn't have gtten away wth that
and if your web lags.... lag in single player... just what I always wanted -_- you know it wasn't bad enough that many devs can't even get their games to cope with fluctuations during multiplayer.. Hell Dark Souls sometimes lags a tiny little bit if your web messes up and that's just connected to the web incase someone invades/for messages/coop symbols/ghosts of other players.
They could do DRM now if they wished... so nothing has really changed from this gen-except MS have probably made it easier for publishers to take the step....
