FAILS to take into account that the 40GB Playstation 3 (as well as 60GB and 80GB) will do EXTREMELY well this holiday season and will outsell ALL HD-DVD players. Take into account other Blu-ray players into account and you've got Blu-ray outselling HD-DVD in any scenario. That article is stupid, end-of-story.

Doubt 360's will be native 1080p (like Halo 3). I'm not buying it for my 360 anyway, I don't pay Microsoft for Gold service. I'll be picking it up for the Playstation 3 for which the majority of their 1080p games (as advertised) as actually 1080p.
Download it and play it on my 8800GTX's in SLI :D
But for the split-screen mode with friends over I'll have the PS3 version as well.

Getting the PS3 version anyway, no problems there.
Graphics wise, this game does not really take advantage of the next-generation technology. Gameplay wise, We'll have to wait and see, but from what I've seen it looks very... plain.
Controls arent a problem, each game is unique in its control scheme. I just think the guy in the video really sucks at shooters (even if it's 3rd person). Also, it really isn't a "shooter" it also has tons of melee controls, so, it needs to fit the controls accordingly. But yea the player really was horrible in the video.

Well GeoW is on PC as well, Ninja Gaiden got its own title in Sigma but 2 will be exclusive to 360.
Last I checked, Playstation 3 has outsold 360 in fiscal year 2007. Since when is it's ass being kicked? If the price point was $399 from launch you know how much you would be eating your words?
Stop trying to turn the story around, the story isn't PS3 fans defending MGS4 more than XBOX fans (mostly fanboys) trying to BEG MGS4 to come to their system (if it hasnt already red ringed or is in transit from repair).

Fanboys, go away, Multi-platform owners will get this game. The Playstation 3 is now HIGHLY affordable and a BIGGER steal then it was at launch. Those with only 1 console, have no right to talk about this game going multi-platform. Why? You figure it out.
MGS4 is exclusive to the Playstation 3 like Halo 3 is exclusive to Microsoft platforms (I'm damn sure it's going to be ported to Vista one day).

If people use HDMI on non-high-quality signals and hardware they will obviously see little difference. Just because a television is 1080p or a signal is high-definition doesn't mean that it is 100% high-quality. Most television streams are compressed, yes, even high-definition signals and channels, of course reasons are bandwidth issues on the providers' end.
Get the highest quality video you can (blu-ray/hd-dvd) or other non-compressed format, and then view it on a TRUE 1080p ...
That is a pretty horrible list.
