It won't happen, not everyone is connected to the internet.
However, I could see them giving you an option to boot into it.
Anywho, we'll see...
The US store hasn't even been updated yet....
That list doesn't even cover the UK update for today either. That's a bunch of bull as far as it stand -right now-.
Hmmmm, guess you're right, but I wouldn't risk it anyway, with the price at which these consoles come at, and the fragility of some of them, I'm not going to put my money on a cable that's supposed to give in.. haha Just me though.
Well, I was getting the PS3 version regardless. But it's good to know nobody will trip over the wire "accidentaly" and potentially damage or break the console.
I hope they keep a list of whoever actually pre-ordered this, and release it to the public so that they can be ridiculed.

I don't think Sony has to rely on "chance" for anything.
Quality vs Quantity in every sense of the meaning.
That Microsoft rep is pretty stupid if he thinks Sony would pull that move. They aren't going to remove VITAL hardware that most gamers want from a system, unlike they did.
Great cars, great simulation of physics, great resolution, great framerate, free online play, Gran Turismo 5 Proglogue (and it isn't even GT 5).
Cheap gamers right here.
NHL 2K8 != NHL 08.... Change the title..
Epic can get the Engine to run efficiently on Sony hardware then any other "reliable" development companies shouldn't have a problem. Maybe they lack quality programmers and engineers.
IT doesn't matter is sales increase or not, support for HD-DVD is almost non-existant, too bad consummers, especially in the U.S. are highly misinformed or have lack of information. They are putting money into hardware that has almost no industry support.
First? Wasn't the E3 trailer running on PS3? Downloaded it on the Playstation Store, and I can clearly see Playstation buttons being displayed on screen during gameplay.
I wonder what Moore has to say about his performance in Australia.
Kojima-san is not a backstabber and will not turn his back against the people he promised would remain exclusive to. He's a very proud man, and will step down from Metal Gear on a good note.
It's funny when a company who ports ex-exclusives to other consoles starts talking about how games are hurting the Playstation 3.
I think this has got to be the lowest type of fanboyism I've seen portrayed in the real world.
