lol, RXV2 will NOT sell consoles. The only people who will buy it are mostly the people who played and liked the first game.

Next-gen is the next-generation of ANYTHING. Technically all machines are next-generation iterations of their predecessors. The only next-gen console with a next-gen format is PS3 though.
Well, considering the fact that it is saying "A new breed of warrior will be born" then I'm going to guess Infamous since we've not heard too much about it lately and it's supposed to be an 8 release... And it has something to do with a warrior of some sort.

Well, another fanboy article. Pretty much a "tunnel-vision" look at things. Fails to see the big picture.
Digital distribution of content that should be distributed on a physical storage medium is far into the future. You won't be getting uncompressed 1080p signals at 7.1 surround on digital downloads until the infrastructure can support such bandwidth usage on a LARGE scale.
Then there comes the storage problem, space is limited, and digital protection/DRM is another obstacle you have to tackle.

The OS is decreasing ram usage every few firmware updates or so, they are reducing the amount of memory allocated (and used) by the OS gradually.
It's minimal anyway, the RAM is used mainly for fast calculations and most other data that needs to be stored can be streamed to the hard disk and cached there for later use.
That article is skewed to one side, it's obvious which one.
The 360 will never succeed in Japan. End of story.
