XBOX.com is the official website for the XBOX gaming community (both XBOX, and XBOX360) making countless errors of the sort is "not very smart" [Power of Green 14.1] for a multi-billion dollar corporation. If your useless comments should be directed at anyone it should be at Microsoft's incompetent staff for not being abl to do their jobs correctly, and not "Sony fans".

I was talking about the 20GB PS3. If I was talking about the 360, I wouldn't have said "swap out for bigger one[S]" since there is only ONE larger HDD for the 360.
Would still be overpriced for the size of the disk... An obsolete disk size.
Install = write to hard drive. Once it's written it's there until YOU delete it manually.

Buy a 250GB HDD for like 90$.
20GB owners can easily swap out their hard drives for bigger ones (and keep all the data by backing it up).
Idiots like this author are why people get the wrong impression of these new machines. They are never FINISHED, they are always work in progress, why do you think they want our feedback and keep sending out Firmware Updates?
Arcade model, the cheapest version (in all aspects) get the cheapest price.
What it means? Nothing really. If you look at both machines, they are two different machines. The names mean a lot to the average joe, the machines differ in what they offer (software excluded, i.e: Blu-Ray Disc vs R.I.P. DVD/HD-DVD). The price drop for the XBOX 360 won't really affect Playstation 3 or Wii sales, all it will do is boost Xbox 360 sales for a short period of time.
Looks like I gotta wait a few months after launch before I can play this online for free.
While it is possible to implement some sort of 100% software emulation for the PS2 on non-BC machines, and it is possible for PS2 games to be released on PSN, this could just be a fake. You can photoshop a screenshot of the playstation store and upload it to the ps3 where u just display it full screen.
Microsoft's patent explicitly states "gaming machine" whilst the PS3 is an entertainment machine.
Maybe other companies can figure out how Guerilla can fork out what we've seen so far from Killzone 2 and make some DECENT ports for the PS3 instead of that bunch of crap we've been seeing.. *cough* Ubisoft*
You don't really need the "touch interface" on the PS3. With the Playstation Eye and some intricate programming, you're able to do the same things without having to shelf out thousands of dollars for a touch surface.

If you had any decent type of sound system where you had multiple channels, you'd be able to change the output ON THE SYSTEM ITSELF. Seems like you opted for a cheap brand if you can't do that and are complaining about the PS3 not being able to change the output for you.
