In my original reply I did specifically stated "on their way". Also, how long will they stay exclusive? That can be said about both libraries, take Eternal Sonata for instance.
I doubt you would've bought a PS3 regardless they made this announcement or not. TRUE gamers would appreciate the games for each platform and cherish EACH platform for the experiences they offer. YOU on the other hand depict the total opposite of this, thus, you are what they call, wannabe gamers, or for the lack of a better word... I think you know.
If by barren you mean:
- Final Fantasy XIII (now multi)
- White Knight Chronicles (excl)
- Disgaea 3 (excl)
- Valkyria Chronicles (excl)
- Final Fantasy XIII Versus (excl)
- Eternal Sonata (multi)
- Folklore (excl)
- Record of Agarest War (excl)
What would you consider... populated? Star Ocean 4 has yet to be confirmed as exclusive, even the press conference never stated it, so expect that to be announced tomorrow. There are ...
Infinite Undiscovered is the only official exclusive. Star Ocean isn't exclusive.
Since when is an 8 player "party" a virtual world?
PSN ID? Link it to your forum account ;)
The only official exclusives right now from Square are pretty much just Infinite Undiscovery and Versus XIII. Both FFXIII and Star Ocean are not exclusive (note how they didn't mention exclusivity in the conference).
Playstation 3 is still the lead platform, it will be fun to see how the 360 version comes out.
If anything the 360 version will be gimped, since the Playstation 3 version's been in development for quite a while longer, and as the lead, the follower gets the gimp. I'm probably guessing multiple discs and an install.
Just hope this doesn't impede on the Playstation 3 development. Looks like Square-Enix just wants to profit more from this huge development. Versus is the only exclusive FF left (not counting Agito).
Look like both Star Ocean and Final Fantasy XIII will be multi-platform. Guessing Versus will be the only exclusive title.
iTunes interface, pretty sleek.
Just linked mine! Now we can finally see all those fakers on the Blog.
Just own multiple consoles. Fanboys these days, pretty sad.
It's probably just a chip that allows bluetooth devices to interact within the Firmware update application. Doubt they would be able to exploit it, it would have to be on the motherboard of the system itself.
Unfortunately, those who had already planned on purchasing a PS3 will not be swayed by a price drop of the 60. The PS3 offers much more than just a gaming experience, and with retail pushing high-definition television sets more and more, people will be looking to purchase high-definition format players.
Are you serious? USB RAM? LOLOLOLOLOLOL
Wow, please, read up on it before you open your mouth, you know how slow that would be? That's just a ridiculous thought, and possibly one of the worst I've ever heard... USB RAM?!?
And the RAM configuration has nothing to do with the Blu-Ray Drive, I don't know why you associate the RAM splitting with "pimping out their new format". The RAM setup is optimized on the architecture of the motherboard, you don't NEED 512MB of R...
There is no mention of a big FFVII announcement, however, there is a big announcement, but with no specific information pertaining to it.
"First off the article never stated that you would have to voide your warranty - it's talking about a speculative SONY RAM upgrade, much like the N64 had."
You can't upgrade RAM on the console without having to OPEN IT. Opening it VOIDS the warranty, you don't have to write it to know that. Do you even own a Playstation 3?
"Secondly, your understanding of how programmers distribute tasks is laughable."
I'm a programmer, I think I woul...
First off...
"Is the PS3 have enough horsepower for this generation?"
Learn to edit your articles. What kind of grammar is that? Seriously, how can you be taken seriously when you can't even write properly?
"So essentially the benefits of having huge storage space are rendered impotent by the need to install games – if the game needs to install then why are discs with a larger capacity even necessary in the first place?"

He also added that they haven't decided whether they'll do an Asian version.
Question: Motion controls?
Kitase: "No, we have no plans."
Question: "Will FF Versus 13 be multi plat?"
Hashimoto: No.
Question: FFXIII uses a properitary engine. Correct me if I'm wrong, that's the last time, it will be used.
Hashimoto: "...
