They are off because it doesn't start until tomorrow. I'm just hoping "tomorrow" starts at midnight and not some random time during the day or evening tomorrow.
I've read this before someone so its not "new" news but thats fine. Not sure how I feel about the random spawn points for people who couldn't fight their way out. If you don't like being spawn camped don't get put into that position. If you do get spawn camped, adapt and overcome or quit.
After all, the next hold your hand feature is a perk if you get break a death streak right? ;/
This wouldn't be an issue if parents would educate themselves about the device before they let their kids play with it. IE require a password before any purchase is made. You can't fix stupid tho.
PS+ users are supposed to also have access to download it starting today and play on April 19th as well.
I support Developers doing this, given that they are also to provide something for users to look at and determine if they should donate money.
The thing is I figured after seeing all the news about Project Takedown using Kickstarter that we'd see more of this, and thats fine, except, i didn't donate to Takedown because there wasn't anything but a "promise" of a tactical shooter. Thats all fine and dandy for some people, but I'm not giving my money to...
This is the problem with free to play games. They have to stop this. Its clearly a money grab and they could honestly care less about what players think. PR will play their game of acting concerned but the bottom line is as long as they continue to allow people to "buy a win" its stupid.
Buying items in f2p games should be solely based on cosmetic stuff.
The only thing that you "need" to know is that everything prior to immediate announcement window is speculation at best.
Surprised other games haven't done this yet. I'm really looking forward to this game and trying out the BETA this month. Hopefully it plays as good as it looks.
I'll give you an agree before the rash of CoD fanboys floods this page and you aren't stoned to death for evening thinking of not purchasing the next CoD game.
Yeah I'm really looking forward to this to. Something more than just an FPS. Hopefully it doesn't flop.
Nice interview, looking forward to this!
No one is forcing you to buy the stuff they make. CCP has repeatedly said you won't be able to "buy a win" either so if you wanna buy stuff that looks cool or don't want to make it yourself you can spend a couple bucks.
Definately looking forward to all the info that is going to come out during Fanfest (march 22-26 or something) about this game!
Dust looks like it is going to be awesome. Keeping my hopes up for now!
Little worried that this is gonna be changed to much and be butchered. I'll give it a shot tho when it comes out. But I don't have a lot of faith, we'll see what happens.
Those who are huge x-com fans and want a remake of the original up to todays "standards" should check out Xenonauts: http://www.xenonauts.com/
Gotta agree. Don't know if I'd say its an RPG in the true sense but meh w/e.
I'd be so pissed if I fell into this category. Especially since according to the first post here in the comments where the scenario is you don't have the original system. Considering so many 360's (and this is not a fanboy rage comment) had problems there is a good chance people don't have their original system and they are being screwed b/c of microsoft.
Ouch.
This game is getting some really high reviews. Looking forward to checking it out.
Can't argue with them. Make money while its hot. I have serious doubts it would be any good but I don't think thats what they are aiming for.
Their perception of value.
