PS+ gives you far more value than your money, and yes you get well over $100 worth of product for your initial $50 investment. The two aren't even comparable.

You must not be a PS+ subscriber because Uncharted 3, Infamous 2, LBP, etc are great games, not to mention the ton of others that I've gotten, but those stand out.

Exactly. The fact that it has taken Microsoft this long to even come close to clarifying why they believe this plan of theirs is good, tells you its bad. If it doesn't make sense first, its probably a bad idea.

I actually have a legitimate hard time with the idea that Sony is "charging" me to play online. The problem is that Sony actually talks like they are "charging me" when in fact I get so much value from my PS+ subscription I'm still making out in the end.

I'd actually like to play Titan Fall but I won't be able to. I hope the developers thank Microsoft for shafting gamers who aren't willing to sacrifice their consumer rights in order to play what could potentially be a very fun game.

I'm honestly considering the purchase of a VITA now that I've seen the price of the PS4 is much cheaper than I had anticipated. Not to mention I've been downloading the PS+ Vita games I get with my subscription just incase I do buy one so I already have a library of games.

You do realize that with Microsoft you pay three times to play the game online right? I mean you buy the game, then you pay for your internet, and then you pay for XBL Gold.
And just to clarify, while it is unfortunate that they are requirement a subscription to play online I get more than 3x my money back in games included in my subscription to PS+ which is far more value than you will ever get out of the Gold package you have.
