I'm not arguing that STEAM has excellent sales, and that you can keep your games forever, and that is one of my biggest complaints with consoles. That being said I buy Playstation products because of the exclusive titles I get with them that I really, really enjoy. I can't play those titles on PC.
They aren't forcing PS+ on you, you don't have to buy it. Just like, while I hate Microsofts DRM stance, they aren't "forcing"...

You must not have PS+ yet, because if you did you'd know gamers absolutely win with it. Its really rather silly how much value I get out of my PS+ subscription.
If you don't have PS+ yet just do yourself a favor and get it. You'll immediately realize why everyone who already has it loves it so much.

Titanfall is not exclusive. Its on the PC which means I don't even need to touch an XBox One to play it. Stop claiming it as an exclusive.
Minecraft XBox Edition is exclusive. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a PS4 edition and if there isn't thats fine, not my cup of tea and again you can play it on PC, or tablet which means it isn't an exclusive.

You mean, the DRM where Sony says you can play your games completely off line and that any DRM is up to the publishers?
I think a 7.5 or 8 out of 10 would be sufficient for their show tho. It was better than previous years but they take a HUGE hit from me because they clearly, and intentionally avoided any talk about their DRM policies that have been at the forefront of the gaming community since their original XBox One announcement.
We're complaining because they are still hiding their terrible DRM policy and didn't even talk about it during their conference because they know its not good for the consumer and would taint the image they are going for.
Watch the carrot kind of show, ignore whats really going on in the background.

I was happy to not see any celebs advertising crap or doing dance routines. Titan Fall looked fun, as with the game from Insomniac. All of that however is unfortunately overshadowed by Microsoft's stance AGAINST the consumer and their lack of transparency to further explain what they plan to do with it.
The fact that Microsoft canceled the post E3 round table, and that they failed to even touch on the DRM issues shows that they know its not consumer friendly and therefor ...

People need to stop thinking that simply because they showed games that they have some how redeemed themselves. This is the same Microsoft who presented all the "cable box" BS at their release announcement that pissed off gamers everywhere, along with DRM that is driving consumers insane.

You gotta spend that money some where when you won't have as many exclusives as the competitor and you are shafting the consumer in so many other ways.
