Yes, exactly. I know BR has an element of randomness to it, but Apex is too random that it usually boils down to who got to which loot first. Oh, you got Spitfire? Yes, you win gunfights since you're going up against someone who can't even break shields given their mag capacity is 17 bullets.

Same. This gen has NOT been good to EA. Apex, Jedi Fallen Order and that's it. Battlefront might be in t but that't it.
I think some people are put off with the hero abilities, super dependent on item meta? I know some of my friends prefer Warzone since it's simpler. Like you get a gun, and you can do well via skill.
In Apex, if you get a lower tier armor, and going up against level 3 armor, you're screwed. Same with guns, etc.
That said, I enjoy Apex still.

Well, EA used to have high quality stuff, no? It's just this gen that it sucked so hard. Mass Effect flopped, the last two Battlefield games ddin't resonate as well as the previous ones, and the list goes on and on.
That said, he is overstating their catalogue. I don't think I remember EA being this "weak" when it comes to their games portfolio.
Modern Warfare seems to have taken a backseat to Warzone. :(

Just hate the servers. Everytime it lags for me or I experience massive packet loss.
Truth be told, this is just one oddly designed MP game.
- Promotes super slow gameplay style
- No red dots promote super defensive play and lets campers hide without penalty
- Maps have so many damn windows and hide-y holes
- You can't even run while reloading (Perk for this was taken out)
- Enemy visibility is crap (blends in background)
- Killstreaks and not scorestreaks promote non-teamwork

I never got this way of thinking. Most studios have different teams working on each part of their game. It's not like having MP will make the SP suck, or have worse textures, etc.
I'm honestly hoping it's not as pay to win as the first one. That's one thing most people forget: TLOU MP was insanely unfair to those who paid money for boosts and stuff.

Exactly! It's like, all the good stuff learned from BF3/BF4 were thrown out the window. The map design in BF3 especially was fantastic.
Gun customization was super deep compared to what we have now.
