And M$ could alleviate a lot of those fears if they would make the Kinect optional but for some reason they refuse to do so.
IMO that refusal seems shady.
Also the fact that they are requiring a daily internet connection AND are increasing their servers by 285,000 doesn't help their case either.
Cameras are everywhere and there isn't much we can do about that but that doesn't mean I'm just going to put a surveillance system in my living-room to invade my privacy.

I think I'd prefer the innovation held back over a
Surveillance system in my living room, paying an additional fee if I borrow a game from a friend, installing a game to a limited space HDD, an always on internet connection, security check on my store bought games, no backward compatibility and one time only achievements.
But that's just me...
That said I've seen some pretty amazing games on my 360 and PS3, it's awesome what a Dev can...
Hopefully they don't listen to the writer of this article because all of those ideas were terrible.
I don't want to be force to play a game at a certain time or certain day or the achievement is lost forever, that is just stupid and game killing for those that enjoy the achievement hunting portion of their games.

Ughh, I was hoping for a game that had a lot of the memory rewind sequences as that's what (IMO) made the premise of the game interesting, For me fighting games are a dime a dozen, nothing wrong with them I was just hoping for something a bit different this go around.

Price drops don't have anything to do with it, if I so Chose I could pick up both the PS4 and the Xbox ONE plus a half a dozen titles each release day as I'm in a good place in my life but because I can afford it doesn't mean I want to be forced into buying something I don't want.
@JBSleek, Hard drives and gimmicks are two different things, what console makers and Devs need to do is what is smart for the consumer and not what serves their pockets.
What if I can't afford or don't want to spend an extra $100.00-$150.00 for something I'll never use? shouldn't that be my choice?
If Sony or a Devs proves to me that whatever device they are trying to pimp is worth me having or makes my gaming experience beyond belief then may...
This might be M$'s vision of Next Gen gaming but it's not mine.
I won't have anyone dictating to me how I play the games that I buy or what I do with them afterwards and I won't have anyone forcing "options" on me that I flat out don't want or will never use.
I will not be dragged kicking and screaming I quite simply just will not participate.
