I remember when mortal kombat II came out at the arcade. The place was packed with kids waiting to play it.
As much as I dislike doing the "agree 100%" I've done it a couple times here don't get me wrong. Ya you make a good point. I remember back in the day games likes cs and bf1942. truly innovative games of their time. didn't go for the trophies/achievements/unlocks and were huge successes.

There is some hit detection problems when your tryin to shoot someone in the air...That's probably due to lag more than anything. But for the most part I never noticed it being an issue.

Last I heard there was a GFWL being free for pc gamers, everyone threw in a their .2 cents and went back to gaming on steam.
ANY company could say that. Like I said I usually provide my own packaging material whenever I need to RMA something. This is why you buy from a reputable company and if that fails. Then you just no longer do business with said company. If MS said that to me you'd bet your arse I probably would never pay for one of their OS's or office suites in my lifetime again. But for damn certain I'd be up to date on that software through other means.
Ya I had people come up to me all the time where I worked and ask for a medium size box....It's just a box lol any supermarket, or retail store would probably give you one for free....
Never thought I'd see the day where a bunch of people would cry and get angry about not getting a box...The internet sure works in mysterious ways.

not entirely true. As a kid a good RPG will hit you in a sense where you'll never forget it. As you get older the lasting impression of rpg's seems to fade away rather quickly.
I don't know about ff8. The whole part where they talked on a basketball court and fighting hockey goalies didn't seem...Final Fantasy'ish...

My first was Secret of Mana my first epic rpg that I liked was chrono trigger. But ff7 gets my respect aside from what some half bald old man thin...
