Holy crap your post smelt horribly of crybaby doodoo. Talk about playing the victim card. It was entertaining though, don't stop posting.
and this one made me literally lol.
"...I've seen nothing but praises for this game, and now from the Madden dev team?! Wow."
We're talking about the madden team here. The same team that's used the same rehashed engine that's carries the same bugs for about 5 years running. God I hope EA loses the NFL lice...
In other words Thom's saying professional analysts are wrong and n4g analysts are right...
/facepalm
I lol'd...
but 40 million is nothing to sneeze at. BTW how much did M$ pay rockstar for the DLC?
I'd have no problem with it if it wasn't keeping DICE from making a battlefield game. PREFERABLY Battlefield 3.
well said. Although I game on ATI cards I personally think that Nvidia's physx will lead the way in future games over AMD/ATI's Havok physics system and hope either M$ or Sony take advantage of it.
Even with the powerful GPU's they've released already like ur 9800gtx Things are only going to get brighter for both companies as they both have developed a technology that incorporates the cpu and gpu working together. That being AMD's stream and Nvidia's CUDA.

Sure as hell is working for Nintendo and a certain plumber. But master chief seems like such a generic character.
Out of curiosity's sake and with nothing to do with the article I wonder who's more popular. Gordon Freeman, Master Chief, or Duke Nukem. These are the poster boys of FPS gaming
Although I just threw master chief up there for the sake of console fans. He looks too much like the Doom space marine for me to take him seriously.
Don't bother playing it if u like free mmo's I was told once u get to a certain level you need to start dropping some major dollars on it to have an edge in pvp.
Expert on racism? did they call up Al Sharpton or something?
larrabee huh...
Intel's done some great work promoting Larrabee but the best GPU developers in the world already work for ATI and Nvidia. Their best bet is to stick with the cell technology and take advantages of Amd's Stream technology or Nvidia's CUDA technology.
Intel being able to compete with the other two is only heresay and major intel PR. Larabee is being labeled as laughabee in the pc world because it's unproven. You could say there's a chance of a cinderell...
ah ya your right I did edit that post right after I wrote it. My bad I didn't bother to check to see if anyone had replied before I hit submit. 9 times out of 10 I usually end up editing a comment right after I post it. Sorry about the insult.
"MS would be mad to not have Blu-Ray support because software/games on PC are moving over to Blu-Ray now."
if you could name off 1 pc game/app on blu-ray disc I'd gladly retract my statement.
To date Blu-Ray's only purpose on pc is to watch movie's and backup data. But why do that when I can buy a 1TB HDD for $100 and download blu-ray movies....hypothetically speaking of course as I don't own a blu-ray drive.
I agree with some points and glad he didn't start putting up NPD numbers or I would have stopped reading. PC gaming sales has taken form in Digital Distribution and nobody knows exactly how much revenue is being pulled in by Steam and Direct2Drive. My guess is there is a good reason these numbers aren't being released.
I've been looking into upgrades myself but at the moment it seems like the pc has been gettin ports of console games that run just fine on a 3870 or 8800. So now ...
actually... I agree. the ps3 had to have sold more than the 360 or that would have looked really bad. I wasn't expecting RE5 to sell well in Japan at all. Their gaming habits seem almost random.
ah yes that takes me back. back in those days I remember using divx to watch my dvd's on xp. I don't see why current blu-ray software wouldn't work on 7...Vista and 7 use the same kernel and vista programs work just fine on 7. I've yet to experience an issue on my other pc thats running the 7 beta
When I mean wasting money. Why should it have to be M$ fronting the cash to develop the software and not the drive makers themselves? Pretty much like how any other hardware manufacturer does it. You know, like ATI, Nvidia, AMD, Intel why should they cater to a technology that may be cutting edge but not even in demand? let the drive makers develop the software. This isn't coming from some side of a stupid fanboy war because I don't own a ps3 or 360 or Wii.
and as far as 3rd par...

but seriously let the drive makers refine the blu-ray software first. No point in wasting money doing it themselves. then I'm sure it'll show up in a service pack or patch.
It's not as if pc blu-ray drives are set to overwhelm the pc parts market anytime soon. It really is a safe bet to let the drive makers worry about it until the demand is there.
Their will always be software that plays media just as well as Windows media player if not bette...
"i dont know how EPIC is still dealing with Msoft, they have to contort everything they do so they can please MS... "
I don't feel bad for them tbh. After they delivered UT3 to pc gamers and blaming piracy because a mediocre shooter didn't sell millions. It's king of a nelson (simpsons) HA-HA moment.
I'm impressed. RKRigney's presence seems to have kept the comments about this article pretty civil.
For how long this lasts who knows. But from I've been reading This tri-ace developer has been catching alot of flak from people here at n4g. Glad to see they have delivered.
This thread pretty much confirms to me that console fanboys of today are like the pc technical gamers pre-crysis. They only built pc's and bought games that were the best visual games on the market. They completely missed the point of gaming altogether.
Bingo.
