eh? Im playin on a 3870 on high @ 1280x1024...I havn't really tried upping the AA but I'm guessing it wouldn't fare too well. I'm bout to pickup an hd4870 as soon I can find one at $149 like ATI/Amd said they'd be at. If not then the gtx260 at $169 would suit me just fine.

Thom you forget that we are in a middle of a recession. It doesn't matter how many bullet points you use to define why blu-ray is better.
The point is DVD flourished in a time where we didn't see economic hardships. Blu-Ray at the moment is just too expensive both in disc and player to become mainstream at the moment. DVD will be on top no matter the quality for many years to come as long as times are tough.

as a pc gamer that had just recently given up on owning a console. I will say I know quite a few of my friends on steam (me included) that will definately be purchasing one.
this is only if it really is $99 dollars off. a 50 dollar price cut would be worth looking over my monthly bills and seeing if I could afford it. But a $99 dollar price cut would be a definite must buy.

I built my pc for $650 and guess what. I can play crysis on high. You can cry about how its still not as cheap as a console. But guess what I'm using to type this up, download movies, games, music, burn dvd's, cd's...etc. etc. etc. etc...ya
