It doesn't cost money to game online on the pc. as far as lag goes. If you know what "ping" means then most pc gamers don't lag.

As a pc gamer... This story brightened my day. It's going to seriously be entertaining when certain fanboys add it to their gospel and try to use it in a heated debate.
however there is nothing wrong imo in developing on the ps3. I think it's smart actually. In the end it saves a lot of headaches. It probably would have been more believable had the person making up the quote left out the bit about the pc version being inferior to a console.

it's because this is what pc gamers expect as it's been sort of like pc gaming tradition for years before console online gaming. Where you guys call it DLC, we've been calling something like this a "patch" for years. Map packs have almost always been included in patches should the developer continue to support their game. and most have actually.
EA tried the "pay for dlc" approach in the form of booster packs (a couple maps, a few new weapons and vehicles) for...

if you knew about pc gaming then you would have known that the GTA4 port to pc was one of the shoddiest console to pc ports released. The specs required for it outdo crysis and R* said themselves it's because it's a "next-gen". Any pc gamer that knows his hardware knows that R* is full of sh*t.

they can completely phase out blu-ray technology for game consoles if usb 3.0 turns out to be a cheap technology. making games in the form of some sort of locked usb drive will nullify the storage and read/write arguments of dvd9 vs. blu-ray. usb 3.0 speeds are set to be 10x faster than usb 2.0.

not really exlusive to microsoft per se but I see what you mean. But you could say it's exclusive to Microsoft software. They don't really get a check for pc sales but nonetheless you need M$ software to play it.
