I forgot to add. Had Sony presented Twisted Metal, they would have instantly won and I would be saving for a ps3.
But they didn't so they instantly failed.

As someone who does not own either console I can give you some insight as to how it looked @ n4g the last few days.
Yesterday. N4G was in panic mode and was a really entertaining day for me. Every article I visited had the ps3 side desperatly trying to fan out the fire before it got started.
Today seemed like a normal n4g day for me really. clicked a couple links and commented on the ffXIV game because I'm a FFXI player but other than that. There was no massive panic...
I dont own either console but I don't see this one doing well at all.
APB, Huxley, The Agency, Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Those are some serious contenders in the mmo market and all are innovative in their own way. I see FFIV as a graphically updated FFXI with the same Draconian SE-Style timesinks.
While I am a 3 year FFXI player (Still playing). The Agency, Or Star Wars mmo will be sharing my playtime with Diablo 3 when I'm not scrimming CS or MW2....

they charge an extra dollar a month for ONE JUST ONE extra character. You can bet your ar$e they will milk their mmo fanbase for all their worth.
not excited for it and I still play ffxi (3 year player). PS3 Hardware Limitations will make sure that that it won't scale well as time goes by.

It's actually pretty hilarious. The fanboys have taken it upon themselves to try and contain the 2 ton gorilla that's gone rampaging around n4g today.

You buy a game on a dvd. You install it. You download patches, content patches, DLC from teh interwebz and it goes to teh hard drive. This makes the size of your game bigger.
Kind of like how I bought a ffxi dvd a few years back and now my ffxi folder is sitting at over 12gb of space.
Now was that so hard?
If you look closely I don't see the 360 fanboys calling a day one purchase. I see a couple /Point and /laughs and a couple /rents to piss off ps3 fans but that's about it.

What fans are angry over is NOT the time it took to release the game. But...
That pc gamers paid $45 or $50 for a game they ALL thought was going to be supported like TF2. If you look at all the content they've released in TF2 after it was launched, they could have made an expansion or a new title out of it.
Check out the steamcommunity forums, They are ablazin. I myself was fooled into thinking l4d would pay for itself via new content.
