Battlefield and the Call of Duty series has always co-existed together since the beginnings of both franchises. They are titles you can switch between if you feel like fraggin open areas or tighter intense areas. One has never been over the other in terms of gameplay as they both offer different types.
It would be nice if console gamers could enjoy what each game brings to the table, like pc gamers have, long before both franchises went console. Instead of bickering amongst them...

You should know that the Source engine has long since incorporated multi-core support along with the upcoming Blizzard games and just about every popular MMO right now.
What I see Directx11 offering is a lot more performance in the low end dx11 supported cards. That in itself is a godsend to developers that are trying to create games for the masses.
Directx 11 definately will be taken advantage of. 25%-35% performance gains has the pc gamer world in a buzz. Essentially Directx 11 incorporates a lot of what dx10.1 offered and it's nothing to sneeze at.

As a pc gamer that doesn't play those types of games. I've seen it on the ps2 when my little brother played it when he was in 2nd-3rd grade. My question is. Do the so called console hardcore really enjoy playing those types of kids games?
