There is no quality loss even if a 30 man team made this. If I were to rank online fun factor the demo ALONE kept playin for many many hours last night and today. Something I havn't been able to do since cod4.
The only issue I came across was connection issues. either shoddy netcode or just poor servers. I'll reserve my final judgement for when some real dedicated servers go up.

Crysis needs to just die already. PC shooters are second to no one. But Crysis...it's a playable tech demo, and a really nifty benchmark. That's it.
I bought it, beat it, was decent. I now only use it when I'm stress testing my overclocks or when I'm checking my load temps.

7600gs in sli was never bleeding edge. that was mediocre and a waste of money even when the 7900gt was mainstream.
Your problem with pc gaming seems to me that you just don't know how to get the best bang for you buck.
why would you buy this game just to play against AI? I know about the online co-op mode but a game with this much potential is best played in team deathmatch.

I have the demo and was very impressed by it. The only problem I had was connection problems online. Only in one server so it probably was the host. But if a 30 man group made this game then woweeee. Very impressive.
I sure do hope that the mentality in this comment section isn't picked up on by game developers.

combat arms is the way to go if u want a free fps
once blu-ray becomes the de facto standard. The top torrent groups will switch over to blu-ray rips, the internet will be flooded with blu-ray copying software. Blu-Ray burners will become stupidly cheap.
