lol...why not just ask for 5 bucks a pop. a subscription on quake arena? that's borderline activision'ish
I do a lot of dvd burning. I know an I7 might save me a couple minutes on the transcode. But I'm perfectly fine with the 8-12 min converts (depends on length of movie obviously)
I'm more relaxed and like to take things at my own pace. But I understand that for some people, time is money, thus justifying an I7 purchase.
it was labeled a petition, thus dooming it to fail from the beginning
we take it for granted?
kid, free map packs, content, patches, free online, and lower than console prices has been this way on the pc since before Halo was even an idea. We handed you the keys to keep it the same way. Don't blame and hate on us because you took out Daddy's car and wrecked it.
gaming innovation is at a standstill because these major publishers and dev's are busy trying to butt rape you for every penny they can. What's funny is, YOU are PAYING THEM to ...
"Well, that proves that you don't know sh1t"
I concur, it's short and sweet. He's Just another console gamer who makes assumptions based off NPD data and has never heard of Digital Distribution
@ fantasystar
I travel in the same boat as you so I know exactly what you're talking about when it comes to hardware. A fanboy of the price/performance ratio only and not a follower of any single brand.
I wouldn't argue that. That and the fact that Bioware already has an outstanding reputation in the rpg industry never hurts either.

"There are a few conclusions we can now definitively draw after today's exploration, plain and simple. It is fact that a Core i7 gaming rig will give you better overall performance in terms of absolute numbers and framerates; the difference isn't very much, but it does exist. It is also fact that such a system will cost considerably more money as well for ...
pirating a valve game is like doin a blow up doll and tellin everyone you got laid last night.
valve games are meant to be played on steam. To do so otherwise is like drinking non-alcoholic beer
Anything touted as a wow killer is doomed to disappoint
same thing me and some friends were sayin when we filled it out
sure hope that wasn't the price drop everyone's been talking about.
Bah just let em. It's really hilarious how much they pretend to not want Valve's support for the ps3.
left behind? I lawled...
The kid obviously doesn't have a clue what steam is.
source engine was made for pc first and foremost. If your the head of dev company do you create an engine that only a select handful of gamers can run? Or do you create an engine where just about every pc with a semi-decent video card or even a good integrated gpu can run just fine?
I think even a 5th grader could tell you where you're gonna get the most money...
but Valve isn't a 360 developer....
the amount of hate and insults for this guy really shows how much the ps3 fanboys are pissed they don't get to play his games
LOL
"guy made his fortune as an employee of Microsoft"
I believe even the ps3 fanboys would be in agreement that he made his fortune with a nifty little program called steam.
"In fact name ANY fps that looks as good as Killzone 2 on a console. "
but the source engine is used on the pc...we're talking pc here, so why does it have to be a console fps all of a sudden?
so now that we're talking pc engines, come back when a console can do this and look good doin it

(not crysis, 100% gameplay)
lol @ zlatko's comment
in before deletion :D
"good to see them sticking to one platform and maximizing its potential. "
thats the truth right there. I'm glad Valve decided on stickin with what they do best :D
