2560x1600 monitors are DEFINATELY not an average pc gamer res. That's well inside hardware enthusiasts territory.

I noticed the ps3 looked better indoors while the 360 looked better outdoors.
ummmmm dual cores have been around for a very long time...some dual cores today even are not at a disadvantage against quad cores when it comes to gaming

it uses less cpu, ram, and HDD power to operate.
It's only a a few frames slower in Crysis but a lot faster running Cod on the ATI side (which is usually what I run due to price/performance).
If I take into account that this is going to be win7 at release. I can't wait to see where it's going to be at in a service pack or two.

When it comes to what it's done for FPS gaming. Half Life stands by itself in a level never attainable by another FPS for many years to come.

I use my 360 controller wirelessly :D just grab one off someone who's 360 RROD'd which means there's plenty to choose from and buy a wireless receiver. only $20 bucks
and why are you assuming the majority of gamers live in 2 story houses? I game in my living room about 20 feet from my TV...I switch between the 2 ALL THE TIME. My brother brought over his 360 once and while it did look nice. There's nothing better than playing mutliplats @ 1080p and never going below 60fps.
Koreans love the games yes. But I would bet at least 1/2 of the people that played it in Korea played it on LAN over a pirated copy.

iirc 360 had a 7 or 8 million head start on the ps3. I'm not entirely sure mind you, I've seen this figure on more than a few occasions here @ n4g.
Now according to what you posted it's still at an 8 million lead. Now don't shoot the messenger here. But according to your own data the ps3 has gained virtually zero ground on the 360.

to be quite honest I still scrim cod4 to this day. BUT I agree OFP2 is giving off a refreshing aroma. I'm not really lying when I say I'm looking more forward to it than MW2. However I will be playing my mw2 for free day 1.

as a sony fanboy basher myself, antoine makes a good point. If Sony can make M$ feel some hurt. They might be more inclined to NOT put out shoddy hardware next-gen. I wouldn't buy any hardware brand on the pc that doesn't take it's quality into consideration. I wouldn't expect console gamers to either. However for console gamers that option is/was a lot more expensive. With the price drop I hope there's enough of a dent for hardware manufacturers to take notice.
