The game is extremely unoptimized. I'm actually surprised they're announcing an expansion already. They aren't a big company so I guess that means I'm not buying an expansion until this game actually pushes quad cores...
my phenom II @ 3.6ghz peaks at 50-75% usage and only around 1.5gb of ram used...The kicker is my frames are at around 35 average. That's just downright horrible optimization.
My brother and cousins have 360's but a co-worker and a cousin I work with are both plannin to move to ps3.
I'm still at a crossroads now that all new movie release groups are coming out with 1.5gb-2gb brrips and are small enough to fit onto a DVD.

Part of it was directed at you thats true but mainly for console gamers that really do not know that games like this exist (warhawk for example is a pc battlefield clone but not many console gamers know about the legendary franchise that is battlefied). Arma 2 is not a visually unappealing game like your making it out to be. Not many people are able to visually max out Arma 2 (If we're talking view distance slider).

trust me this is what you console boys want. whatever your a fanboy of shouldn't matter. This is how online gaming should be played. Server browsing ingame > matchmaking any day of the week.
my beef with this game is that while the steak may be good at first. But leftovers is still leftovers sure you can stick it in the microwave and nuke it. But what sane person would charge $10 more for this piece of nuked steak?
