Reason being: Perfect xmas present for my 12yr old kid that is a Gears of War fanatic.
It makes a perfect Xmas present, same way The Halo Legendary with the Helmet made the perfect Xmas present for him last year.
All the kiddies are going to want, so the parents will be forced to buy them... like me.

i dont understand why people aren't talking about the ps3 upcoming price cut?
There will be an 80 gig ps3 for $399 in sept, considering an 80gig ps3 sold for $599 at launch, thats makes TWO HUGE price cuts of $100 each in less than two years.
So what if the 360 has a price cit after three years on the market? it only had one measly price cut since launch last year of $20 and $50.
This holiday season should be real interesting... price cuts, AAA gam...

oks so the visuals of the ps3 and the 360 are on par right now, and in time ps3s graphics are going to get better. just like GoW2 amazed everyone with a ps2.

at the time if you were able to play Doom 3 the way it's meant to be played: on a powerful computer and turing up all the setting, 5.1 surround, and in the dark.... you would have experienced IMO, one of the scariest game ever made, and possibly the scariest, only because it accomplished what i set out to do, scare the sh1t out of you... i have some great memories playing that game.

PS3 gets a price cut, whether ot not care to admit it, an 80gig ps3 at only $399 IS a price cut. And a rather huge one compared to the $599 price tag it got when it was released not even two years ago.
