It's easy to look back on a game now and say it sucks, but when Halo came out, it was the best console FPS ever, and is still considered one of the best of all time.
and you do know Re5 is a timed exclusive to the 360, right?

you could be right, especially with GT huge worldwide fanbase, but i assure you that if your a Racing fan and you own a 360, Forza 2 does not disappoint in the least.
And since GT outshines forza in ONLY graphics/sound, maybe this new IP looking to copy GT will be concentrating more on the graphics/sound.

my OPINION is that Gears is the best TPS I have ever played, due in part to the controls, cover-system, multi-player, and online co-op.
Resident Evil 4 on is one of the best games I have ever played. Period.
At the time the graphics and over the shoulder third person view were amazing, but Gears graphics and controls are obviously much much better.

Gears is by far the best TPS i have ever played... especially the multi-player.
I dont know but every time I think of banjo now, i just think about how Rare ruined a perfectly great platform type game, and turned it into something that just doesn't catch my interest in the least.

Like I said I feel sorry for ReFOM2 for having to go against Gears 2, thats why i thought Sony should have put out it's biggest FPS exclusive that so far looks like it can actually compete with Gears 2.
anyways, have fun with ReFOM2, the sequal to an average FPS, while 360 owners play the sequal to 2006's GOTY.

The reason I bought an Xbox.
I don't think they should take out the active sniper insta-down abilities in Gears 2. Especially now with Gears 2 and the way someone that is down to squirm to cover.
Anyways, if anything, change the length of the time it takes for the person that got downed to get up making it just a little faster for them to get up. That way the sniper can't just wait for you to get up and get the easy headshot.
Game looks amazing.
You gotta feel sorry for ReFOM2 because you know everyone will be comparing the two... so I wonder, if it's true what Sony said about pushing back KZ2 because they didn't want two FPS with aliens competing with each other....
why didn't they push back ReFOM2 and release KZ2 to compete with Gears 2?

Looks like MS is looking to copy GT with its own GT-R.
Graphics look good.... so here's hoping it can actually compete with GT5 as far as graphics, because the best gameplay/customization racing can is Forza 2 without a doubt. Also exclusve to the 360

Completely agree with what hey said.... the fighting engine in NG2 is 2nd to none.
I've played God of War and NG2 (I just passed the 8 th level on NG2), and I can say without a doubt God of War has better presentation but gameplay goes to NG2. Lightning fast, awesome fininshing moves, so many weapons to upgrade and master, and truly addictive and fun.
Anyone that played NG1 or Sigma will definitely be pleased.
Doom 3 was the kind of scary video game that makes you actually jump out of your seat.

It truly is a sign of things to come when you have two of the most talented developers EVER like John Carmack and Gabe Newell (from valve) going exclusive to the 360 just because they can't stand programming for the ps3.

it just amazes me everytime i hear sonykiddies screaming how MGS is Sony exclusive when as you pointed out has already been on original Xbox and coming to 360 LIVE arcade and Nintendo Gamecube.
