Gears is one of my favorits games of all time, and the multi-player is the most additive fun i've had in years... so i'm totally jealous...
BUT.. you gotta let it out.. what was that other game you played that let you down? c'mon, you can tell, nobody's listening :)

On the one hand I applaud Sony for doing so many bundles to help push games and bring more saving to their consumer. On the ohter hand, It makes me wonder how great this title would have sold if it would have been a stand alone game. I mean, just look at the sales of motorstorm. If it wasn't bundled it would have never reached a million.

I didn't know those were the original teasm behind those games... PS3 could have had some major console exclusive platformers, and judging by the latest work from those developers, those games could have been sick.
that sucks... it should be released within this console's lifespan.
anyways... i see rumors for halo 4 and it bring me back to last year and the flood of rumors, news, and pics before the release of halo 3

BUT no matter how they want to deny, complain, or say how boring and repetitive it is.... GTA4 is STILL the best selling and highest rated game on PS3... and NO ps3 owner is going to be playing the DLC. DAMN!!

I'm actually surprised the numbers are still that close.
I'm a 360 supporter, but when ps3 dropped its price and introduced the 40 gig at $399, right then and there the 360 should have had a price cut. Even I see the value in the ps3 because of blu-ray. And then with the format wars coming to an end, and the 100-150 credit you get using sony's credit card towards a ps3... i expected ps3 sales to skyrocket.
But these numbers show me I was wrong.

but if you look at the FACTS, maybe you can learn how to get a grip with the reality that GTA4 runs sub HD with no AA on PS3 BUT runs at 720p with 2xAA on the 360.

The way I see it...
LBP has been having some heavy promoting lately, thats obvious.
BUT, who can deny the fact that the most anticipated game this holiday season is the follow up to 2006's GOTY award... Gears 2!!
You have gears 2 and an xbox at $199..... thats going to really push consoles. IMO...

First up was the biggest release of 2008, GTA4 .... it was proven that it looked and ran better on the 360. FACT. (please don't argue that point, your just going to make yorself look silly with your opinions)
BUT heres the real test, the real showdown.... Crysis... this game is without a doubt the best looking game "graphically" ever created... so good, it was ahead of it's time when it was released and PC's couldn't run it at max settings.

I know bundle push games and hardware, thats why I suggested they do a Gears 2 bundle...
and again, your right there is no way of knowing how well a game would have sold without a bundle, BUT when a game like motorstorm reaches the same games sales as COD4... then it's just plain as day that the bundle DEFINITELY helped motorstorm.
