we Don’t praise them enough. every other AAA developer is sneaking more and more micro transactions into games. Then you got cdpr who I think everyone would agree could reasonably get away with some of that stuff since there games are so beloved yet openly condemn those practices. The quality of the dlc for Witcher 3 was crazy, not only did I feel I got my money’s worth but I would have gladly donated more to show my support for them
Because they are more likely to turn gaming into the mobile market with mt’s and if so I’m finding a new hobby. Game pass is the Trojan horse to get people used to subscriptions and the games are slowly going to include more and more micro transactions. This is the last generation I own an Xbox. Playing halo wars on it now and after seeing the payed dlc it’s obvious what they’re up to. Why would dlc not be included with game pass?
I’ve always owned an Xbox but have no loyalty, just convenience. All things equal I’ll continue to buy Xbox just because I’m used to it. This consul generation I came seriously close to buying a PlayStation, if next gen starts out the same I’m definitely getting a PS. After I quite playing that garbage I played black flag AC. A game that was 5 yeas older and cost $20. You would think astral chain was the game 5 years old. The game was wierd for sake of being weird and no way should have been $60. Compare that to other AAA games being made today and it’s not even close. Some reason games get a pass on the switch but if that thing released for consoles it would have been tore apart

As someone that’s always owned an Xbox this generation I’ve come pretty close to jumping ship. $60 for a AAA is a bargain and I have no problem spending that. Screw him. Witcher was successful because of the talent at cdpr, they could have picked any world and made it awesome.
Yeah that also, the guy owes a lot to cdpr and personally I think he comes across as a huge jerk. The cyberpunk guy actually helped them develop the game, he did absolutely nothing during the development of The Witcher
The whole ordeal ruined my opinion of the author, hopefully they didn’t give him to much. The guy did zero to promote the game and even badmouthed it. They owed the guy zero more then what he already agreed too

Since sword and shield are essentially the same game and they count it three times, the one bieng the combo so essentially 4 times I’d say it’s doing really well
First one left such a bad taste in my mouth I doubt I’ll get this anyway but hopefully they focus on making it fun somehow. I just remember being bored and wondering a lot
I enjoyed it, only so much people will let you change with a game like that and I feel they did a good job. I’m having a lot more fun with astral chain though
It don’t make sense to rent something that cost $300 In My opinion. I would always just rather buy it upfront.
Guess it’s your money but I have no problem spending $60 on games I feel deserve it. Witcher 3 and other games that don’t try and rip you off with mt’s I like to show my support. If the games 2 years old though I’m not paying $60 either

Mt’s will be why I stop gaming, when we can no longer spend a specified amount of money for a whole game I’m finding a new hobby. Cdpr is the only AAA company I See not doing that crap
