Botw has jaded me to Zelda period. I seriously wonder what reviews it would have got if it wasn’t a Zelda title. Guess I’m just an outlier though because I thought it was ridiculously boring

Yes. I won’t play any game I can’t outright buy for a specified amount of money. It’s no longer fun when I feel like I’m getting nickle and dimed the whole time. I’ll find a new hobby when it comes to that

I strongly agree. Bought it digitally and after pushing myself to 20 hours hoping it would get better i had enough. I really wonder if it wasn’t titled Zelda it would have done that good. All I remember is wondering around and unimpressive physics

I hope not. Subscriptions won’t be enough, if that’s the case mt’s are going to get 100x worse. I’d rather pay $80 for a game then all future games being loaded with micro transactions. It’s funny how $20 games at most have in game economies of 1000’s of dollers. If I can’t own the complete game for a set amount I won’t touch it .

As an old Xbox guy this is the first time I’ve really decided on jumping ship. I bet there’s like a 10 year plan to faze on all that crap $60 for a games a bargain and if I’m paying slightly more that way I’m fine with it knowing once I pay I’m done. Just can’t shake the feeling they’re using game pass to get games in as many hands as possible then making money of mt’s

Yeah realty. Xb2 story was amazing but the combat system was like a full time job trying to learn. Played 80 hours and still didn’t really know what the hell I was doing
Honestly I’m burnt out on open world games, botw was last straw for me. K was looking forward to a mindless linear shooter. Rog mechanics seemed cool though
