For the record I was one of those idiots also. I spent $200 on fire emblem heroes before realizing how dumb it was. That game at most would cost $40 upfront but I got suckered into dumping all that money. I won’t even play a game unless I can experience the whole thing for a set amount of money now
Sit down the reason would be since it’s an addiction for a lot of people. Same reason we have laws about gambling. I bet anything there’s tons of people out there that have destroyed there lives because of that crap. They’re idiots because they are being taken advantage of
People can hate all they want but idiots will keep supporting that crap. It’s a no brainer they probably make way more from those games then AAA ones with 1/100th the effort. Unless government steps In it’ll eventually take over all gaming
I really wish people would stop buying that crap. That will never happen though since they have teams of people dedicated to making them as addictive as possible. I never understood how anyone could be against them regulating that crap
I’m more worried about the games. I’ve never owned a PlayStation but next gen will probably be my first. Not a fan of the direction of Xbox. I don’t have a lot of time to play games so when I do it’s a game I want to play not some cheap crap on game pass. Seems like Microsoft bought a bunch of AA studios to make Cheap game pass filler. I’d rather pay $60 for a Great AAA game
As someone that loves rpg’s and never owned a PlayStation I was excited to try them. After getting playing 15 on Xbox and 10-2 on switch I was pretty disappointed. I wonder how much of the love is just name and nostalgia. I did like tactics on my phone though

Seriously feel like Phil ruined Xbox, was loyal up until game pass now I’m officially done. so all first party games are included but none of the dlc? I’ll bet anything the games become more and more bare but loaded with dlc. Feel like a lot of the AA studios they picked up are just going to crank out game pass Content. Hopefully Sony doesn’t try and copy Xbox’s path and keeps doing what they do best
Noticed that now that I got game pass. Don’t want to play any of them yet I’m paying monthly for it so mine as well. Hopefully Playstation doesn’t try and push a similar thing next gen because definitely feel like Microsoft’s putting a lot into something I don’t care for

Game pass is the Trogen horse for more mt’s. At the beginning of this counsel gen devs was complaining about $60 not being enough for AAA games anymore and now they’re offering them for cheaper. Why are the dlc not included in game pass? They’re first party games will become more and more bare with more dlc. I’ve always been an Xbox guy and have one now but next gen I’m pretty sure I’m jumping ship

Astral chain was garbage. No way that compares to other AAA titles today. I played assassins creed bf right after which was like 6 years old and that played and looked like the newer game
Assassin creed games always look good and I get suckered into buying them but never like them. It’s been like 4 times and each time I regret it so I’m done with them. Too much fetch quest stuff like da inquisition, I found myself doing a bunch of stuff that had nothing to do with the story and it’s not fun
