Hopefully they realize it’s the vocal minority that’s giving them a hard time about everything. I’m sure most people like me realize they are the best ones out there and by far the most (only) honest AAA developer out there and often leave money on the table. I felt guilty paying whatever it was for the Witcher 3 expansions, they could have easily milked those out more. Spineless games journalist are just trying to stir crap up. We should reward people for doing the right things especially in...
Well delayed again, which I’m sure is going to effect the company. It’s called reality, if the company does bad it trickles down to the workers. Death march? Lol man you’re an idiot
Why, it’s called the real world. There studios getting ready to release a major game seems natural tha they’d need people to step up. There getting time and half plus there all partners in the profit so blows my mind hearing you people cry about this
These guys have seriously earned some slack with there prior history. It’s the only major AAA studio I can think of that leaves money on the table, they could have easily monetized the Witcher 3 way more but didn’t and always deliver with great content. Seeing sleezbag games journalist go in on them for stupid crap irritates the hell out of me. For whatever reason games journalist I swear are the worst
I’ve always been an Xbox guy buy definitely don’t like the way there going. Maybe I’m old school but all these changes Phil’s making cost a ton of money and for a company like Microsoft to give him the green light they have a plan
Season passes and all that aren’t included in gamepass, I see there first party games getting more and more bare with paid content. Maybe I’m wrong but it’s weird $60 wasn’t enough at the beginning of this generation and now there’s a cheaper option
Fromsoftware would suck as an Xbox owner, definitely be a huge purchase
This is Microsoft’s way of getting people comfortable with micro transactions. I’d bet anything they got a 10 year plan or something to work them in more and more. Gamepass is just the Trojan horse. All the devs where saying how $60 isn’t enough for games anymore and now all of a sudden there’s a cheaper option?
Honestly I get more enjoyment out of AA games these days then the AAA ones for the most part. Witcher 3 was the last good one I can think of. Ubisoft games are nothing but pointless fetch quests and all feel the same
I’d 100% rather pay more upfront then have games designed around getting more money out of you. It’s crazy seeing people spend $100’s of dollars on cheap Mobil games that anyone would laugh at if they charged $20 upfront. Plus if you take the pay to win mechanics out of them the games are just horrible but they have it down to a science making them as addictive as possible
You guys get time and a half?
Seriously work somewhere else then, no ones forced to be there. As long as they’re being compensated for it this article is ridiculous. Cdpr are saints compared to the other companies out there and obviously do care about there employees for them to even state they don’t like doing that. This is a huge game for them and the final stretch, I’m sure when this is over they all get a bunch of time off, pretty reasonable for them to ask they’re guys to step up
I can’t stand games journolist
I really hope game play and depth are there like a modern Skyrim. Not so worried about graphics. I find myself mostly play smaller AA games these days since most AAA are crap like Ubisoft makes where it’s just filled with fetch quest
It’s part of the job. I’m an electrician an I know at certain times my company needs me to step up. Always funny seeing California sjw game journalist try to make issues out of crap that’s not an issue. They’re all free to get another iob
Yep, if they get there way you’ll no longer be able to purchase a game upfront. You’ll be nickle and dimed with micro transactions
I’m sure Bethesda games are going to stay multi plat. If not it would definitely be a huge reason to get xbox
Bethesda’s been getting worse and worse with the micro transactions. Wonder how this will effect them. I’m assuming it’ll stay the same or get worse since I have a feeling gamepass is Microsoft’s Trojan horse to get people accepting mt’s.
Pretty sure they’re all free to leave, so rediculous hearing people on the outside cry about people payed overtime. They have a major game getting ready to come out they’ve been working on for years, it would seem crazy to me if they weren’t working overtime
