He definitely played DS2, if you actually believe he didn't something may be wrong with you. And stop pointing out "grammatical errors" people from reddit first addressed. The author is clearly trying to be relevant with his context. To say something is "pimped out" may not be appropriate for a professional piece, but for a gaming article, you better believe it is appropriate.
And your reference to 'sitting on a couch with his heart.' Whoev...
@Biggest
Being a grammar nazi is something I will never be. The second someone attacks one's grammar, when that is not the primary issue, is the second they've lost the said argument.
The only case I can think where grammar would be an issue to attack is when you really, truly, absolutely, cannot understand what someone is trying to say. But that is very rare.
This rabid IGN hate is ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with the review. Sure, there are some grammatical decisions I would have approached differently, but really? The guy is not writing a dissertation, it is a short review for a gaming (predominately) website. Most of the criticism people have are poorly argued and really the people complaining simply need to learn how to read. If IGN made a mistake or did something, then fine, bash them. But there is nothing wrong here.
I don't get it...
I got VC2 for $16 during the Sega sale not too long ago. Don't have time to play it now, but glad I picked it up. I'll hopefully be able to play it soon though!
@Blaine
You are absolutely right. Time is the key factor. I really feel bad for some game companies that make quality games but release them around greater quality games. I have every intention of playing them, but ends up being forgotten in the midst of other games. I actually enjoy game delays (granted they are actually fixing/improving on something).
I played the demo, it was fun, it is probably worth the $8, but not worth my time.
It should say 6 World Records: Setting the most World Records in 3 days!
Yeah that's what I meant. If they did it the implications would be so costly, they cannot afford to do it.
It won't happen...
Haha, I hope none of you actually think they can do that.
But you don't own a ps3 right?
I think it's funny how SE is finally like, "hmm, maybe our games aren't a tier above the rest, maybe we can show them to everyone instead of a select few behind closed door."
A little humble after your last few project eh SE?
Umm....yes...please!
The game looks pretty dope, excited to see more on it!
@tony
Really? Wow, you obviously don't know Colin then...
If this deal was when Dead Space 2 came out I would surely do it. But since I already played ME2, have no interest in DCUO, this deal does nothing for me.
Haha, then what are you a huge fan of?
Yes, you'll be fine :)
Cool.
@nsnsmj
Do you automatically get that $20 applied or do you manually have to re-pre-order?
Ugh the article doesn't say anything like that. Please read the article!
All it says is it changes the method of scare tactics. DS1 was predictable because you knew every time there was a corridor there would be an enemy, in DS2 that is not the case. It makes people not always be on their toes and than BAAAMM scare em when they least expect it.
