Agreed dude. You shouldn't get trophies for an easy task. It should either be a progression trophy, after each chapter, or something that actually takes skill.
I think Tony Hawk underground was the last game I enjoyed...
Yeah, ugh! I can't believe they give us free entertainment and coverage on video games! UGH!
Ugh, i still have Lunar: Silver Star Harmony & Valkyria Chronicles 2 in my backlog... ugh ugh ugh!
Wow...people need a lesson in common sense. You cannot compare a review score of a trivia game to the review score of a fps.
Read the review and the review score within its context. Context people... context!
Explodemon is on my list, still have a couple games I wanna get through before I purchase a new one. I am really pumped about it though.
Think about it... for $18 you get a $15 awesome highly praised game, an advance on the KZ3 demo and some avatars. And 1 out of your 3 months isn't even over yet!
@ShinGino
I understand that can be annoying, but when it is a different reviewer you can't do much about it.
Also, if you just look at the score you will get that frustrated impression, but if you read and see it is better than the previous, what's the big deal?
@Kyu
I'm not saying you only buy 9.0s regardless; without reading a review. I'm actually talking about people who read reviews, not those who look at a number and blindly buy a game -- that is called stupidity.
When you read a review for a PSN strategy tower defense game you have to understand that it is being reviewed within that context.
And please don't tell me but but but but that's just your opinion. This is a fact when...
Lol, I love all these people who hate IGN for no reason... IGN is also in words like sIGN, fIG Newton, and IGNite.
Please explain why IGN is ignorant, and if you can't it seems like you are the ignorant one...
You obviously don't know how reviews work do you? You have to compare scores within genres. You can't compare a Plants vs Zombies to Killzone 3. It is just not how it works. You have to review games on their own grounds.
If that was the case... very few PSN/XBLA games would be in competition with any of the good to excellent full retail games.
And what kind of sheep does that make you?
Wow. I just played for 20 minutes trying to calibrate my Move settings, and I gotta say I got them pretty close to perfect (for me of course) My reactions and accuracy are much much better. I am looking forward to adopted the Move controls as my default setting! WOO!
It seems like all of the lower review scores (less than 8.5/10) come from people who did not enjoy the previous Killzone games. But why aren't these people reviewing a game for what it is? Does this 77% reflect a person who disliked KZ1 and 2 or does it reflect a person who enjoyed KZ1 & 2?
Reviewers need a lesson in reviewing. Go to a seminar or something. Start reviewing games based on their own terms instead of with some arbitrary expectations.

@Hellsvacancy
It seems like you only like things that aren't popular. It's a common syndrome people suffer from. They like to know about cool, less popular games and tell people about them so they can feel like they've known the unknown and are special in some way.
If you truly liked Dead Space, you would be hungering to play the second. There are so many questions to be answered. DS2 goes more into Isaac's personality and struggles. To ...
Not liking it doesn't make you any less of a gamer, but not appreciating/respecting it does. The overall presentation of the game is phenomenal.
@Mario
While reviews are subjective. There still should be an objective element to professional reviews. There must be a distinction between a review from one of us, and a professionals review. They get paid, they have (usually) more experience, etc.
Notice how I used the words 'should' and 'must'. It doesn't mean that is the way gaming journalism is... it simply means that is how it should and (if I were a Senior Editor) must be.
If I were high, I probably would have just bypassed this article...
Lol, wow. Sometimes there are sarcastic comments where you aren't quite sure they are sarcastic. But come on...
Did you honestly read that comment in a serious tone?
Different review scale. Learn how to think...
