I don't know why people would even bother getting this for the PS3 if they have a competent PC. Now if you don't... then enjoy it come Jan 11!!!
Haha, that is so true...
I mean all those games looked great, but top ones? Meh.
No Last Guardian, no Gears, no Dragon Age 2, no thanks...
To those interested in collecting trophies as a means to further challenge yourself, or because you like to "complete" a game. I propose a healthy way to collect:
Play through a game (either purchased or rented) not caring about collecting trophies. If you say, "Hey, that game was awesome, I think I'll play it again." Take a look at the trophy list, plot out your course, and get that plat! But if you say, "The game was all right, but I think I...
@swinesucker
While I agree with you that people who platinum crappy games are wasting their time, platinuming a game you thoroughly enjoy and are a huge fan of is not.
"Games are for the most part a waste of time beyond the few great games released every year."
And who are you to say what games are great? Playing games (any game) is not a waste of time if the person is enjoying it. But if you sit through Terminator Salvation or Ha...
The problem is... you just gotta stop playing bad games...
Too many games to play...!!!! ARGH!!
@Best
Don't you think it's a little unfair to say it is the 3rd game in four years? They are on a 2 year cycle, that is not milking the series. In order for your view to make sense, you would have to count the development time before Uncharted 1 was released.
As much as CaptianAmerica needs to chill, he is right. It really doesn't work in writing.
Oh, I've played it, beat it, and still own it. Believe me, I wouldn't have said anything if I didn't play ME1, I'm not one of those people. It was an amazing game when it came out, I'm just saying that ME2 just impressed me that much more.
ME1 was just meh compared to ME2. The graphic novel will do just fine. :)
Lol I'm with KaiokenKid on this one...
What?
I disagree Vortex3D. I don't use trophies as a means of "bragging" as I simply just like a universal list of all the games I've played and the challenges I've accomplished.
Instead of having to jump into each individual game and check out my old style in-game "trophies" I can now view all of my progress in one place. It keeps a record of it and keeps the completionist in me aware of the games I haven't "fully" beaten.
...
Grats on that Arkham Assylum Plat though. Some of those challenges were frustratingly difficult.
Yeah it is pretty easy, but demanded a second playthrough. So I am sitting at 91% just waiting until I have the urge to play through it again.
Although I love trophies, I try not to force myself through a game. I still want to have fun while collecting :)
I love trophies... I am very close to platinuming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, GOWI, GOWIII, R&C: A Crack in Time, and Heavy Rain. The collector/perfectionist mentality in me is terrifyingly overwhelming. Sometimes I think I need help.
Bring it to US/EU...
Yeah! It sure doesn't add up! Go bessy67! :)
I still need to finish my games from 2010. Stop moving so fast time! Sheesh slow down!
Can I do more than just press auto-attack and switch paradigms?
That was the coolest thing I've ever seen... /s
