I don't know if I buy all this KZ3's story is awful. I for one thoroughly enjoyed KZ2's campaign, and I believe I will enjoy KZ3's as well. We shall see in a couple of weeks!
@Xstation
Ugh, you know it is possible to thoroughly enjoy something and not play it 24/7 right?
Yeah, very cool. Was highly interested in Stacking. Getting it for free with plus is a nice bonus :) Between the Sam & Max games and stacking I've already made my money worth with Plus :)
@distorted
No distorted I am not. I am saying that every big game that incorporates top of the line gameplay, graphics, multiplayer, audio, etc. should. If Killzone 2 got crappy reviews and played poorly it would be different. But it didn't. Even the reviewers are saying it... It is a better game than the previous in terms of those qualities mentioned above.
Killzone's score isn't arbitrary either. It has deserved these high remarks. Anyone...
@Jimmy
No Jimmy. Because within reviews, there is an objective guideline. Looking at KZ3's audio, visuals, and mechanics, other games only dream to achieve that sort of level. That is objective. To give this game a 7/10 is simply ignoring how much it accomplished.
And yes, I have played a ton of the multiplayer. And that only should receive an 8.5/10. Oh yeah, this guy didn't review the multiplayer...my bad.
Lol, Killzone 3 and Singularity are on the same level according to these guys. Really!? Seriously!? Stupidity is pervasive today eh?
It has nothing to do with being a ps3 fanboy. You cannot honestly say Killzone 3 is a 7/10 game. You cannot. Be consistent with your thought and you would have a hard time rating it below an 8.5. The same would expect of GTA games, Halo games, etc. Sure, maybe they aren't on par with their counterparts, but to compare it to other games you've reviewed... please...
Any review below an 8.5 should not get recognized. Seriously, compare this game to any other game you've rated 4/5 G4TV and you will laugh. By it nature, KZ3 cannot get below a 8.5. Sorry. I'm waiting for the day where there are consistent reviewers...
I don't get it... why is it so tough to localize? You have the 360 version with English voices and dialog...
Highly anticipating this game.
@above
I agree, I love me so no respawn type game modes but cover in a 3rd person shooter should really be implemented.
That is the most overused, tired motto.
Yes. We know. Ignorant starts with IGN. Now come up with something new because they (as a company) know more about gaming than you...
@TooTall19
Thanks for the clear up. But the 24 hour double XP from Best Buy is right... right?
I believe the Best Buy deal is the best. I think it's a 24 hour period of double XP or something. Plus the 3 Bonus Maps.
Absolutely worth every penny, but unfortunately not worth my time right about now :(
I've played both too...
In Uncharted you platform, in Gears you do not. They are different genres of games. There are more differences that similarities.
They are heavily different in terms of gameplay...
Gears plays nothing like Uncharted. Sure, they are both third-person games and the use guns. But those are about all the similarities.
@joydestroy
If you weren't a fan of the first, why did you buy the second...?
They don't work for anyone, because they aren't real. :)
Guys, games taught him this. Nothing else can explain this person's behavior...
I wonder if murders and erratic behavior existed before video games. Probably not...
