How about the Shenmue one where the guy talks about playing Shenmue while having sex with his girlfriend? Or the 09/09/99 launch campaign? Going even further back, the adult Sega ads in Playboy, Sega does what Nintendont, etc!
Killzone (70 MC rating) was horrible, Killzone 2 (91 MC rating) on the other hand was really good and a monument to what a then mediocre developer could do to turn things around! ;)
On topic: Great review, I'm really having fun with ODST so far, I'm really impressed by Sadie's Story, never has a side quest drawn me in so much in a shooter.
On the console side of things Sony has done some pretty bad stuff, the "racist PSP commercial", "All I want for Christmas is a PSP", the Halo 3 Wiki edits coming from a Sony Europe ip. And if you think Microsoft tis the only company that makes bad comments about competition your probably haven't followed the industry for very long. It was in 2006 was it not when Sony would say "we start next gen"? How about "we were the first to use CD's in our consoles?&quo...
I remember that, there was one about Tecmo editing Team Ninja, Sony doing Halo 3, and one about EA editing theirs to discredit Trip Hoskins or who ever the founder was.
Nothing new, how many game company employees have been caught editing Wikipedia page to say something positive about their company or bad about competition?
I always love posts like this because it brings out the bigots who think a soldier in the army or citizen o a country automatically shares the views his/her government does about the war they are in.

True, but he definietly doesn't have the push he used to have at Sega that he used it. I'm a bit worried, it seems like Sega might crap out a Shenmue 3 to cash in on the niche fanbase, they did recently with Golden Axe, NIGHTs, etc.

Financially Shenmue "failed" everywhere, it may have broke even or just about, it's kinda why Yu Suzuki had to scale his vision of the game back, cancel the MMO, and receive a demotion at Sega recently.
Why on earth would you want a Shenmue 3 without Yu Suzuki? That man had a dream that Sega just won't let him live it out with his recent demotion and all it's highly unlikely they would let him make a third game or one with a decent budget.
Seriously, how many game developers would painstakingly program the ability to open every single cupboard, door, etc in a game? These are minor things of course but they are what made Shenmue and Shenmue II the great games that they were. ...

Yes if you don't have the free map packs it cuts you off. Halo games have always had alternative playlists for those that didn't have the maps which still had the popular game types.
Not sure about COD 4 but in World at War if you don't have the map pack the game takes you to the marketplace to buy it at the load screen.
Have you even played Halo 3 online? All ranked matches are available in the public lists, infact, the public lists have a few more.
You probably haven't played much Call of Duty then to be constantly kicked out of matches (up to the load screen mind you) and having the game pop up the marketplace prompting you to buy the maps.

Also, Bungie only locks some of the ranked playlists from users who do not have the required maps.
Not sure why you are targeting Bungie so much when there are worse examples of multiplayer games like the Call of Duty series where they basically take singleplayer levels, block them off, and sell it back to you for $10.

Judging by the title I see you did this for hits in turn for ad money. The lengths some people go to now adays for a hit.
This among other things is why I'm not sold on the PSP Go! yet, I'll upgrade my PSP 1000 but probably to a 3000 or 4000, I'd still be able to experience a majority of the Go! functionality so it won't be a total loss.
