I disagree with HipHopGamer, the smaller studios he's referring to are:
1. Making exclusive games on 1 platform, in comparison to Valve who codes for PC and ports over.
2. They are funded by Sony, Microsoft, etc hence are also entitled to other "bonuses" (advertising, help, etc).
3. Sometimes entitled to tax benefits for development (like here in Canada, the government will pay for your development costs to a certain extent if you meet their specificatio...
So because someone doesn't know how to use a feature regarding a console, game, etc that makes them a fanboy towards the competition? I'm at a loss for words...
This happens every year with Call of Duty, sometimes on the day, Activision, Treyarch, Infinity Ward, etc claim they are respecting veterans but the fact is, the COD games are setup in such way that it's hard to do so. In World at War for instance, you burn a group of Japanese soldiers to the tune of some heavy metal song playing in the background, I'm sure that's EXACTLY what they [the vets] were thinking of when they had to burn out a nest of Japanese soldiers.
Plus, none of...
Simple, if you guys think a game with sequels that are rated highly (80+ on MC) qualifies as milking the franchise, just don't buy it! More copies for the rest of us! :) Enjoy the Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Spyro, Crash, etc games that have 70- averages on MC.
The problem is no one even goes on GameKicker, infact, I`ve seen their stuff posted on N4G before!
On topic: Firstly, how many sites are we going to see that have their site names made from a variation of N4G?
I also love how people like to call anyone who posts a story on N4G a journalist...
Jmare: Some examples,

1. Know the exact location of your iPhone/iTouch contacts
2. Know to check for them everytime the app is loaded
3. Know to send said data to a remote server
4. Remote server knows how to accept aforementioned data and store it locally.
etc
Just because they haven't released a retail game on the PS3 doesn't mean they haven't worked on or had experiences on the PS3. They could have tried stuff on the PS3 internally at Valve or even looked over The Orange Box PS3 source code.
Plenty of Sony exclusive developers haven't touched 360 or Wii hardware yet they make claims like "only possible on PS3", same goes for 360 and Wii developers in the same boat.
If a game like this can get after launch support on a level like this, what does that tell you about supposedly "good" games that don't get crap?
The Dead or Alive series was always multiplatform (good times with DOA 2 on the Dreamcast!) until the Xbox was released where it began to go "exclusive". Dead or Alive 5 was first announced in conceptual form in 2006 for the 360 IIRC, a PS3 port wouldn't be completely out of the question.
Itagaki made Team Ninja pervy? You do realize Sigma 2 had some characters redone to look more attractive (Ayane IIRC), new characters introduced with big boobs, a new control option implemented that allows you to jiggle boobs with your controller, and a viral ad campaign that involved fake boobs being plastered on a wall right?
1 person didn't make Team Ninja that way, they were like that way without him!
You guys are comparing realistic movement in two games set in FAKE SCIENCE FICTION universes....
No one plays ODST anymore?
A. Most of the multiplayer is registered as Halo 3 on XBL
B. Halo 3: ODST was the fifth most played game this week on Xbox Live (gathered from ALL XBL accounts including Silver).

A game on a 25GB Blu Ray disc would be the same as a movie on a 25GB disc, same goes for 50GB. While size may deter some, pirates simply want things for free so size may not stop many of them.
Also factor in that not all games take up 25, 50, etc GB, compression can also be used. In other words, pirates will find a way around everything. :(
World at War is pretty good, or are you one of those people who just hate on the game because Treyarch made it and not Infinity Ward?
HoN?
I might play some World at War, if not will try to get some Forza 3 time in (still have to play it! :( )
People run pirated games, homebrew, etc off harddrives as well cutting out the need for physical media in a sense.
I was a disappointed by the first game since BioWare didn't deliver on all their promises, the planets for instance were all the same asides from a few minor tweaks. I hope Mass Effect 2 delivers.
Lame, good on those guys for saying "no" to Ubisoft's "offer"...
