Star War titles are a given :p
While the likes of Sony and Microsoft need to drastically change their SKU's to increase sales over a long period of time, Nintendo only needs a color change...what an age we live in! =/
Worst attempt at trolling ever, at least 6 months ago with fanboys on this site it was creative and kinda sorta bearable.
Keep executing a program hundreds of times and it will at one point make a mistake during those 100 executions. That's why some people say their game is buggy while others say they never ran into one, all part of the coding wheel of life. :p
Rental stores purchase the games from the publisher, that is money in their pocket. With some games a rental store might be lucky to turn a profit on. With Piracy, no money goes into the developer/publishers pocket.
Yes not all pirates will buy the game but if 100,000 people pirate a game, you can bet some of those people might have bought the game otherwise.
They were multiplatform before as well, Geometry Wars saw a release on the PC, DS, Wii, etc.
On the other end of things they were bought by Activision hence won't be making PGR games anymore.
I would have expected it to do better than that especially in Japan given how more "hip" the Japanese generally are to newer technologies and the install base. Good to see the UMD's are selling though, would be funny if the Go was simply a device meant to show the world how much they love UMD's. :p
I'm at a loss for words, that is insane!
The Xbox 360 is doing horrible in Japan, why doesn't Microsoft actually build up a first party presence in Japan? They have a great presence in America with studios, at least kinda after the closures of FASA, Ensemble, ACES, Digital Anvil, etc, plus Europe with Rare and Lionhead. Yet no one in Japan!
The PS3 is doing great, Sony made a kick ass machine so it's good to see them getting the sales it deserves. Good to see the PSP back on top, I assume that includes all SKU's? If ...
I live in Canada and we have the Zune here, I know they were going to release it in Europe but not sure if they got around to it.
GFWL isn't that bad Panda, it was at one point but it has vastly improved since launch. The service is just...a mess.
1. Nothing is connected, meaning the ingame client can't communicate with the marketplace and vice versa.
2. You can't buy games on the marketplace, Microsoft alone has some great classic games that if put up on the marketplace would do great.
3. Not a lot of titles support GFWL
4. Microsoft doesn't make first party PC games anymore. =/

Much better than the original, now how about some content to fill the thing?
Given your comment history and constant bashing of everything Microsoft for no reason, I highly doubt you've even given a Microsoft product a chance, or are even old enough to own a phone...
darthv72: Windows Mobile has been around since the late 90s, early 00s long before Blackberry came out. Palm discontinued their old stuff recently and came out with the Pre, Windows Mobile is one of the few veteran systems still standing.
I think Microsoft blew it with apps and hardware manufacturers. Microsoft should have been the first to create a unified store to buy applications from, they are now the last. On the hardware side of things, people simply made crappy phones. ...
DarkFocus: It doesn't matter, the TOS is a legally binding contract that you have to accept if you want to use Xbox Live and it strictly forbids the use of any sort of modification on your console.
If people wanted to get their Xbox 360s fixed they have to use Microsoft's service. I agree that the Hard-drives are overpriced but the rules are there for a reason. I don't think case mods really do anything, I think it might only be for the parts that register something upon bootu...
You can still use the Xbox Live account on other services such as Games for Windows, Zune Marketplace, etc and even Xbox Live if you use an unbanned Xbox 360.
Was this even considered?
Kotick took a company on the verge of shutting down in the 90s and turned it into a financial powerhouse in little over a decade, not many people can say the same.
The multiplayer was the saving grace of that game, 32 players in huge levels, plus the DLC for it was fantastic!
Black consoles look nice most of the time, the only thing I hate about them is how it makes the dust become more apparent. :p
