Activision did make two American Revolution games, the first one did pretty good apparently.
Interesting article, I consider myself pretty versed in World War 2 so a few points of interest.
The Holocaust is a tough subject that games will have issues dealing with. The Nazi Party had committed many of these atrocities under the nose of not only Germans but the Allies as well. Concentration camps, the actions towards groups of people, etc were common knowledge to an extent (they won't strike fear into a population if no one knows about them) but the death camps were not ...
I'm a "collectionist" so giving away my old stuff doesn't appeal much to me. :p
I already have most of my worthwhile DVD movies on Blu Ray or in the odd case, HD DVD so this won't benefit me much anyway.
COD 3 didn't make it to PC and their was a ton of backlash for that, infact, petitions are still being signed over ti!
He's only 56 which is a pretty young age for someone to die given the average US expectancy rate is what 80? And the retirement average being 65.
Regardless, hope he gets well.
Niko was cool but this voice actor got all whinny about not being paid enough and it kind of ruined the character in my mind.
Great times with the Genesis, Sega made those days memorable. :)
Agent was a PS2/Xbox game before? Interesting,
Cairo is interesting as well, getting a Casablanca esqe vibe from the location thus far.
10% is still a big number dude, plus money can't buy you cures with the snap of a finger, it definitely makes things a bit more comfortable but nothing is guaranteed.
Get well soon Allen, you created a company that took the world by storm, here's too many more! :)
What does that have to do with anything? If in the 500+ Xbox 360 games and the 300+ Xbox games compatible with the Xbox 360 you can't find anything you simply aren't trying.
Metal Gear Solid for the iPhone should be at that price permanently, haven't tried Silent Scope or Silent Hill but for $0.99 that's pretty sweet.
You do realize this site is run by PS3 fanboys/trolls with an occasional Xbox 360 fanboy and the unicorn that is the Wii troll.
Developers, especially first and second party should NOT being making such statements, this is on par with what you'd expect to see on N4G! I like the 360 design, hell I didn't mind the original PS3 design either! I do agree that the Xbox 360 does make a lot of noise but the later ones seem to have cut down on this a bit. The PS3 still wins when it comes to the quiet factor though. I remember how quiet the original Xbox was, not sure why the 360 is so loud.
I always do my best ...
Keep dreaming, Treyarch changed the formula with 3 but gamers complained because it was different. Infinity Ward changes it and they are the best developer in the world, wtf?
Call of Duty 3 had a story, more tactical online play, better map pack deals (10 maps for $10!), etc. Treyarch does a lot but the Infinity Ward fanboys will never let them get any credit.
Call of Duty 3 was made in 8 months, including the game engine (from scratch) and everything, despite this, it was still a pretty good game. How many other developers can do the same thing?
Infinity Ward struck it lucky with 4, it still felt too much like the other COD titles but in a modern setting aside from multiplayer.
Of course they don't say anything here, but seeing developer reactions on Twitter, their blogs, etc towards the others is telling.
The general consensus is that Forza 3 is a great game, it is selling pretty well, reviews have been positive from both press and consumers, and the game has a what 93 on Metacritic?
I guess they are out of touch...with the PS3 fanboy consensus.
Pennywise: I remember seeing XboxLifeStyle in 2008, it seems to have gone dead for a while but was relaunched a few months ago.
Forza 3 is a great game, why are you getting so defensive over nothing? Have you even played Forza 3? Do you own an Xbox 360?
This isn't a new thing for Bethesda, this is something they do since the beginning. Even back in the Xbox/PS2 days when patching console games wasn't a problem they still released super buggy games. Now that you can patch games on consoles they have no reason to change.
Killzone 2 is present in some of the categories, other than that, who cares? Plenty of 360 and Wii exclusives aren't in the final category, should a post be made about all of them too?
