Of course it's easier to catch up when someone else is able to setup a framework and make it available to millions. That way competitors can analyze the data (gamer likes and dislikes, cost, profit, etc) and work from there.

Why or better yet what did you do to get banned?

The amount of players capable in multiplayer games is completely up to the developer. That's why games like Frontlines is capable of 50+ and Gears 2 only 10, because the developers chose to do things that way.

3D communities? Technically games are a 3D community, if you want something like Home on the Xbox 360 then you won't find it, for free at least.

Please tell me which Xbox Live games require you to pay for dedicated servers on top of the $50?

After reading the interview I will definitely support his autobiography and buy a copy. He also sells the new Mario game in a way that makes me want to check it out, Tim Schafer had the same effect on me when listening to him on the 4 Guys 1UP podcast, buy a copy just to support them essentially.

The last 3 COD's were made on the same engine yes but each time they were upgraded. World at War looks way better than 5 just as 6 looks way better than 4 and a bit 5.

I'm not a fan of IW's COD games anymore because

A. They always have to bash Treyarch
B. They try to do things to "break ground" but their whole gameplay mechanic destroys it (such as the hostage thing).

Treyarch did a great job with World at War when it came to showi...

I find it kinda funny that he did stuff for Microsoft in the 90s.

http://www.charlesmartinet....

And yes that site is horribly outdated and stuck in the 90s!

He also did The Twelfth Night, just finished reading that a few days ago, a Thespian!

Reading Martinet's responses about the new Mario game kinda makes me want to try it out.

The first Guitar Hero didn't do very well either, infact, I think some sources are even saying these sales are on par with what Guitar Hero first sold. DJ Hero is the type of game that will sell in the long run, once people see it at friends houses, the price goes down, etc.

Even if they do it you know the hardcore Call of Duty players will jump on it, they would essentially want to turn it into the Battle.Net of COD only difference being every game required a few for entry instead of one.

Why did you reply to my comment when that has little to nothing to do with what I wrote?

Yes, the people who bought a console for modding will switch to the console that has no modding capabilities what so ever.

The conspiracy theories on this site are ridiculous, if you guys believe so strongly in them and they had some credibility behind them the law would be involved, especially when you refer to the "innocent" banned...

Interesting, unless it supports GFWL inturn avatars, I don't see it doing very well since your avatar in the world interacting with the game was a huge draw.

4. Firmware updates started on the PSP? LOL! Thousands of consumer devices will have to disagree with you.

5. No, the Dreamcast had something called the "DreamEye" which was the first time a camera attachment was used on a console in such a way.

Nuts & Bolts wasn't a reviews flop, it was a sales flop.

Vampire Rain was ported to PS3 later, the POS that all gamers got to experience. :(

If you want the game to run properly than yes the 360 is needed, on my Toshiba Qosmio G50 (which is a pretty good gaming laptop) the game chugs if I try to go a bit above what the 360 offers.

Those statements coming from you mean nothing...

Gears 2 opened up peoples eyes to how bad Live is? Yea right, a majority of people moved on to other Live titles, despite that Gears 2 is still a Top 10 most played title.

Ruin PC gaming how? I'm sure all those PC developers who use a release now patch later mentality, DRM, Rootkits, crappy services that take away regular functionality, programs that watch your PC usage and send it to the developer, etc are really...

Microsoft also makes royalties on Games for Windows titles, in turn they help with development, offer advertising, etc.

You can be 99% of the time a 360 exclusive goes to PC it will be hoisting a GFW banner.

PanadaMobile: How does the game using GFWL automatically exclude it from using dedicated servers?

Some first party examples,

Shadowrun on PC used both dedicated servers and P2P

Halo 2 used both P2P and dedicated servers, the installation disc also came with software to set up your own dedicated server.

Blu Ray has been cracked, same with HD DVD. Blu Ray movies and games have been ripped and are on torrent sites. HOWEVER you can't play them on the PS3 because it hasn't been hacked yet.

Not all PS3 games take up all the space on a Blu Ray disc, with compression most games can fit onto a DVD if you really wanted (that's what PSP rippers did, compressed full games down to less than a gig). For larger files their is always the HDD, if someone wants something for free I doubt it w...
