BioWare has always been BioWare, Black Isle is a completely different studio that was shut down a few years ago, most of the staff created Obsidian Enteratinment.

Omg, twins!
Yes, wasn't it clear?

A studio that came out of no where made one of the best DC superhero games ever, not to mention the Unreal Engine looks amazing in Batman: AA.
I think they deserve some credit, Infinity Ward and Naughty Dog are already established studios who have received much praise over the years.
This is the guide I used when I wanted to learn, really helpful.

Parapraxis: Forza did chart in Europe, it sold pretty ok in Japan as well. Roughly 400-500k in North America (Canada, US), 50-60 in Japan (thanks to the special edition) and the rest could have been made up in Europe.
Europe is a huge market and one that really helps with game sales, they don't get enough credit as they should for that kind of stuff. Forza 3 could have easily moved 1 million in the first month (that was the number given), you really can't lie that heavily to i...
How is this selling outside of America?
I agree, I thought both of those games would be in the top 20 at least. I guess for these kind of games a lot of the sales come from Europe. Forza 3 for instance sold over 1 million copies in its first month according to Microsoft a few days ago. It sold what, 300-500k in North America and roughly 50-60k in Japan?
Same thing with games like inFamous, it charted once in the states if I recall yet it moved past the 1 million mark. I feel kinda bad for Sony, inFamous and Uncharte...
I don't think Canada is counted in NPD so it is only America.
The numbers must not be big enough here to devote dedicated tracking like NPD in America, Chart Get in Europe, Famitsu and Media Create in Japan, etc.
Valay: The purpose of the game is to give a 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' experience to Wii owners. I'm sure Activision is banking that parents were going to pick this up for the Wii when looking for Modern Warfare 2.
"Do you have Modern Warfare for the Wii?" (Not everyone will use the entire name of course)
"Yes we do!"
There is plenty of hype around this game, you might not care for Perfect Dark but there are plenty of people who do.
Do you even own an Xbox 360? Given your post history, I doubt you do.
Waypoint is a meta Halo game that is free, and Saaking, Microsoft does have free themes on Xbox Live, gamer pictures as well, a few XBLA games too.
I wonder what his job includes? Halo had amazing music and sound effects, Marty O' Donnel does an amazing job, Halo Wars also had a great yet under appreciated soundtrack. (the composer is Stephen Rippy).
Toshiba better support this better than they're supporting the CELL chips they put in laptops last year. I bought the Qosmio G50 in September 08 and I haven't been able to find programs that take use of it asides from generic "Movie Burner", "DVD player", "Movie Converter", etc apps that come with new PC's, Laptops, etc.
63, but what does that have to do with anything? Mel Brooks is in his 80s and he's still making movies, I think their are a few directors in their 90s who are still in the business.
On topic, Stranglehold was amazing, shame it sold no where near what Midway/Woo wanted. (they were aiming for over 2 million but the game broke 1 million)
I think the purpose of the trailer was to showcase the engine, the unique day and night cycles, the lighting effects, the draw distance, the animations, etc.
Alan Wake looks great, definitely a day 1 buy for me.
Rare has nearly 200 employees, they could be working on multiple projects in some capacity.
The environments in PDZ looked great, the character models looked ok, although some of the faces for the enemies and the ragdolls were really good. (in singleplayer of course, in multiplayer the ragdolls were kinda cartoony)
I don't mind the "new look" if you want to call it that, it looks great, although it is essentially a remastered version of the original. Having a mode with the original graphics would be cool for nostalgia purposes.
Wow, at least Charles Onyett isn't a huge fanboy about the issue and actually discusses the pros and cons of both systems unlike Greg Miller... +1 IGN, unfortunately, articles like those Miller wrote have done a lot of damage.
Yes, Sony did it with Lik Sang, Nintendo did it with a few places recently over the Nintendo DS stuff.
